Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari kurangnya perilaku sosial siswa seperti sikap kerjasama dan sportivitas pada saat proses pembelajaran permainan tradisional. Ada beberapa permasalahan yang terjadi di lapangan pada saat proses pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani berlangsung sebagai berikut: masih ada siswa bersikap egois, belum bekerjasama dengan tim/teman kelompoknya, masih belum bisa menerima kekalahan/sportif. Oleh karena itu peneliti tertarik pada perilaku sosial siswa seperti sikap kerjasama dan sportivitas dalam aktivitas pembelajaran permainan tradisional. Masalah penelitian ini adalah 1) Apasaja hambatan yang dihadapi pada perilaku sosial siswa; 2) bagaimana cara mengatasi hambatan tersebut; serta 3) sejauhmana permainan tradisional dapat meningkatkan perilaku sosial siswa dalam pembelajaran penjas di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan kelas atau Classroom Action Research pada siswa kelas V SDN Tilil 1 Kota Bandung yang berjumlah 41 Siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah rekaman foto, lembar observasi siswa format penilaian kerjasama dan sportivitas, catatan lapangan, tes, dan dokumentasi penelitian. Presentase peningkatan peroleh rata-rata setiap tindakan pada perilaku sosial siswa seperti: sikap kerjasama; observasi awal mencapai 46%, pada siklus I tindakan 1 mencapai 55%, siklus I tindakan 2 mencapai 64%, siklus II Tindakan 3 mencapai 71% dan siklus II Tindakan 4 mencapai 81%; sikap sportivitas; observasi awal mencapai 45%, pada siklus I tindakan 1 mencapai 55%, siklus I tindakan 2 mencapai 62%, siklus II Tindakan 3 mencapai 72% dan siklus II Tindakan 4 mencapai 82% . selanjutnya penelitian dihentikan karena sudah cukup mencapai rata-rata 75%. Hasil ini menunjukkan peningkatan setiap tindakan dan menunjukkan bahwa melalui aktivitas pembelajaran permainan tradisional dapat meningkatkan perilaku sosial siswa seperti sikap kerjasama dan sportivitas dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani. ---- This research is departed from the lack of good social behavior of the students such as sportsmanship and teamwork in the process of traditional game learning. There are some problems occur in the learning process of physical education such as: students’ selfishness, bad teamwork, and no sportsmanship. Thus, researcher is interested in the students’ social behavior such as teamwork and sportsmanship in the process of traditional game learning. The issues of this research are 1) what are the obstacles faced in the students’ social behavior; 2) how to handle those obstacles; and 3) how far or in what way this traditional game can improve the students’ social behavior in physical education in elementary school. The method used in this research is action research on 41 students grade five in SDN Tilil 1 Bandung. The instruments used are the photo record, students observation sheet, teamwork and sportsmanship scoring form, field notes, test, and research documentation. The average percentage of the improvements on each action on the students’ social behavior are: teamwork; preliminary observations reached 46 % , in the first cycle of action 1 reached 55 % , the first cycle of action 2 reached 64 % , the second cycle action 3 is 71% and the second cycle action 4 is 81 % ; sportmanship; the initial observation up to 45 % , in the first cycle of action 1 reached 55 % , the first cycle of action 2 reached 62 % , the second cycle action 3 reached 72 % and the second cycle action 4 is 82 % . The continuation of the actions is then stopped because it has reached an average of 75 %. These results show an increase in every action and show that traditional games learning activities can improve students' social behavior such as students’ teamwork and sportsmanship in physical education.
