Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh informasi mengenai penggunaan model pembelajaran PBL untuk menganalisis penguasaan konsep dan kreativitas peserta didik pada topik korosi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen One Group Pretest-Postes Design, dengan subyek penelitian 30 orang peserta didik kelas XI di salah satu SMK Negeri di Kota Cimahi. Peserta didik dibagi dalam tiga kategori kelompok kemampuan, yaitu: tinggi, sedang dan rendah berdasarkan nilai rata-rata ulangan harian. Aspek keterampilan berpikir kreatif yang dikembangkan meliputi kelancaran, keluwesan, merinci, dan menilai, sedangkan untuk aspek bertindak kreatif, meliputi tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap akhir. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis pilihan ganda, essay, lembar observasi, angket (skala Likert) dan pedoman wawancara. Peningkatan hasil belajar dihitung menggunakan N-gain. Hubungan antara peningkatan antar variabel digunakan korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran ini dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep peserta dengan kategori sedang (N-Gain=0,51). Kemampuan berpikir kreatif mengalami peningkatan, untuk aspek tertinggi kemampuan merinci dengan kategori tinggi (N-Gain=0,86) dan aspek terendah kemampuan berpikir evaluatif dengan kategori sedang (N-Gain=0,57) dan kemampuan bertindak kreatif mengalami peningkatan pada kategori tinggi. Terdapat hubungan positif antara penguasaan konsep dengan berpikir kreatif dengan kategori kuat (r=0,65); antara penguasaan konsep dengan bertindak kreatif ada pada kategori sedang (r=0,59). Peserta didik dan guru memberikan tanggapan yang positif terhadap pembelajaran. Peserta didik senang serta termotivasi dalam mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model yang diimplementasikan. ;---This study aims to obtain information on the use of PBL learning model to improve cognitive ability, and creativity of learners on the topic of corrosion. The research method used is quasi experiment One Group Pretest-Postes Design, with the subject of research of 30 students of class XI in one of SMK Negeri in Cimahi City. Learners are divided into three categories of ability groups, namely: high, medium and low based on the average daily test value. Aspects of creative thinking skills developed include fluency, flexibility, detailing, and judgment, while for aspects of creative acting, including the preparation stage, the stage of implementation, and the final stage. The instruments used are multiple choice test, essay, observation sheet, questionnaire (Likert scale) and interview guide. Increased learning outcomes were calculated using N-gain. The relationship between the increase between variables used Pearson correlation. The results showed that this learning model can improve the mastery of the concept of participants with middle category (N-Gain = 0,51). The ability to think creatively has improved, for the highest aspects of high category was detailing (N-Gain=0.86) and the lowest aspect of moderate evaluative thinking skills (N-Gain=0,57) and creative acting ability has increased in the high category. The relationship between mastering the concept and creative thinking is in the strong category (r = 0.65); The relationship between mastering the concept and creative acting is medium (r = 0,59). Learners and teachers respond positively to learning. Students are happy and motivated to follow the learning using the model that is implemented.
