Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Kemampuan Interpersonal Terhadap Supervisi Akademik Kepala Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Soreang Kabupaten Bandung”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai pengaruh kemampuan interpersonal terhadap supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Soreang Kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skala likert. Sampel penelitian ini adalah guru sekolah dasar sebanyak 81 orang dari populasi total sebanyak 121 orang guru sekolah dasar di lingkungan Kecamatan Soreang Kabupaten Bandung. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data yang dihitung menggunakan teknik Weight Means Score (WMS), menunjukkan bahwa kecenderungan umum untuk Kemampuan Interpersonal dan Supervisi Akademik berada pada kategori sangat baik. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kemampuan interpersonal dan supervisi akademik. Adapun hasil perolehan analisis koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh kemampuan interpersonal terhadap supervisi akademik adalah sebesar 31,0%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 69,0% dipengaruhi faktor lain. Berdasarkan hasil-hasil tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan interpersonal terhadap supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Soreang Kabupaten Bandung. Diantara rekomendasi yang diberikan untuk kepala sekolah adalah agar senantiasa meningkatkan kemampuan menghargai orang lain dalam kemampuan interpersonal serta meningkatkan intensitas memberikan umpan balik dari hasil kegiatan supervisi akademik, sedangkan rekomendasi bagi dinas pendidikan adalah agar dapat memfassilitasi pengawasan melalui pengawas pendidikan untuk mempertahankan kondisi yang sudah baik serta meningkatkan hal-hal yang harus ditingkatkan.---- This research titled "The Influence of Interpersonal Ability to the Academic Supervision of Primary School Principal in Soreang, Bandung District ". The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of interpersonal ability to the academic supervision of primary school principal in Soreang, Bandung District. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach. The collection data technique using a questionnaire with Likert scale. The sample in this research is 81 elementary school teachers from 121 total population elementary school teachers in Soreang, Bandung District. Based on the results of data processing which is calculated using the technique Weight Means Score (WMS), shows that the general tendency for Interpersonal Ability and Academic Supervision is in very good category. The result of data analysis shows that there is a significant correlation between interpersonal ability and academic supervision. The results of determination coefficient analysis shows that the influence of interpersonal Ability on academic supervision is equal to 31,0%, while the rest of 69,0% influenced by other factors. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between interpersonal ability on academic supervision of primary school principal in Soreang, Bandung District. Among the recommendations given to principals is to always improve the ability to respect opinions of others people in interpersonal ability and increase the intensity of giving the feedback from result in academic supervision, whereas the recommendations for the education office is to facilitate supervision through education supervisors to maintain the good conditions and improves things to be improved.
