Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh peer social support dan students sense of belonging terhadap prestasi akademik pada mahasiswa angkatan 2015 dan 2016 Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 384 mahasiswa angkatan 2015 dan 2016 Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). Instrumen pada penelitian ini adalah Child Adolescent Social Support Scale (CASSS), Psychological Sense of School Membership (PSSM), dan prestasi akademik dengan menggunakan nilai IPK mahasiswa. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan (1) tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari peer social support terhadap prestasi akademik, (2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari students sense of belonging terhadap prestasi akademik, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari peer social support dan students sense of belonging terhadap prestasi akademik pada mahasiswa angkatan 2015 dan 2016 Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI).;---This study is aimed to determine the influence of peer social support and students sense of belonging to the academic achievement of college students class of 2015 and 2016 in Indonesian University of Education. The approach used is a quantitative approach by using multiple regression analysis. The samples in this study are 384 students class of 2015 and 2016 in Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Instruments used in this study were Child Adolescent Social Support Scale (CASSS), Psychological Sense of School Membership (PSSM), and academic achievement using student's GPA score. The result obtained shows (1) there is no significant influence of peer social support to the academic achievement, (2) there is a significant influence of students sense of belonging to the academic achievement, and (3) there is a significant influence of peer social support and students sense of belonging to the academic achievement of students class of 2015 and 2016 in Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
