Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya keprihatinan melihat kondisi moral sebagian manusia Indonesia yang mencerminkan prilaku koruptif. Masalah moralitas diklaim sebagai penyebab utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat proses implementasi pendidikan nilai melalui pembelajaran bahasa asing di tingkat SMA untuk membentuk manusia yang bermoral. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dan metode deskriptif-analitik. Data diperoleh melalui tahapan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil triangulasi data memperlihatkan terdapat lima nilai yang terkonstruksi pada siswa yaitu nilai amanah, toleransi, jujur, berani/percaya diri, dan nilai ilmu, yang berproses melalui lima integrasi kegiatan sekolah. Konstruksi kelima nilai tersebut dianalisis melalui perspektif psychoanalysis yang memperlihatkan kontribusi ethics berperan dalam proses penyadaran nilai. Pendidikan nilai melalui pembelajaran bahasa asing-Jerman berhasil membentuk manusia bermoral yang berazas pada nilai absolut dan nilai universal-kultural.----- This research is motivated by the concern to see the moral condition of some Indonesian people that reflect corrupt behavior. The issue of morality is claimed to be the main cause. This study aims to see the process of implementation of value education through foreign language learning at high school level to form a moral person. By using qualitative approach, and descriptive-analytic method obtained through interview stage, observation and documentation study. The result of data triangulation shows that there are five values constructed in the students that is the value of trust, tolerance, honest, brave / confident, and the value of science, which process through five integration of school activities. The construction of these five values is analyzed through the perspective of psychoanalysis which shows the contribution of ethics to the role in the process of value awareness. Value education through foreign-German language learning has succeeded in forming a moral human being based on absolute values and universal-cultural values.
