Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena hampir sering adanya ketegangan antar masyarakat nelayan di Kota Cirebon yang mengarah pada munculnya disintegrasi sosial, sehingga pada tahun 1990 ada pelarangan untuk menyelenggarakan tradisi yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat di Kota Cirebon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan tradisi nadran pada masyarakat nelayan di Kelurahan Kesenden, Kota Cirebon, menganalisis nilai-nilai sosial yang terkandung dalam tradisi nadran pada masyarakat nelayan di Kelurahan Kesenden, Kota Cirebon, dan menganalisis bentuk solidaritas sosial masyarakat nelayan di Kelurahan Kesenden, Kota Cirebon. Peneliti tertarik melakukan penelitian ini atas dasar adanya ketertarikan terhadap nilai-nilai sosial dalam tradisi nadran yang dimiliki masyarakat nelayan di wilayah Samadikun Selatan. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi dan sosiologi, serta menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis untuk memaparkan hasil penelitian. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, teknik wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi dari pihak-pihak yang terpercaya. Informan penelitian terdiri dari Rukun Nelayan, Ketua Rw, Kebayan, Pemangku hajat, dan masyarakat Nelayan di wilayah Samadikun Selatan, pihak Disbudpar Kota Cirebon, Budayawan, dan pihak-pihak Keraton di Kota Cirebon. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat nelayan memiliki tradisi turun-temurun yang dipertahankan dan dilestarikan, yaitu tradisi nadran. Sampai saat ini tradisi nadran masih eksis dan menjadi salah satu benda cagar budaya berpotensi terhadap sektor pariwisata. selain itu, dalam tradisi nadran terkandung nilai-nilai sosial yang dapat membentuk solidaritas masyarakat nelayan wilayah Samadikun, Kelurahan Kesenden.------ The study was backed by the frequent presence of tension as nearly between fishing communities in the town of Cirebon that leads to the emergence of social disintegration, so that in 1990 there was a prohibition to hold the traditions that are owned by the communities in the town of Cirebon. This research aims to know the execution of tradition nadran on fishing communities in the village Kesenden, the city of Cirebon, analyze social values contained in the tradition of nadran on fishing communities the village Kesenden, the city of Cirebon , and analyze forms of social solidarity Community fishermen in the village Kesenden, the city of Cirebon. Researchers interested in conducting research on the basis of the existence of the interest in the social values in the tradition of nadran who owned fishing communities in the region of southern Samadikun. The researchers used a qualitative approach to research in Ethnography and sociology, as well as using descriptive analysis method to interpret the results of the research. Data collection on this research uses techniques of observation, interview techniques, and study the documentation of a trusted parties. Informant research consists of Pillars of fishermen, Chairman of Regent, Chairman of society, Kebayan, and fishing communities of the South, the region of Samadikun Disbudpar City of Cirebon, Humanist, and parties of the Palace in the city of Cirebon. The results of this study indicate that fishing communities have a tradition passed down through generations that preserved and conserved, i.e. tradition nadran. Until recently the tradition nadran still exists and remains one of objects of cultural heritage are potentially against the tourism sector. In addition, in the tradition of nadran embodied the values of social solidarity that can form a community of fishermen region Samadikun, Village Kesenden.
