Abstract

This research entitled “Comparative Study of Implementation Effectiveness between Prezi and Microsoft Power Point with iSpring add-ons as Teaching-Learning Media in Audio System Engineering at SMKN 4 Bandung” was conducted in grade XI Audio Video. This research is based on the teaching-learning process at SMKN 4 Bandung that using Microsoft Power Point was not maximal. The main aim of this research is to find the more effective teaching media to increase student participation during the learning process due to the result of comparison between 2 classes are determined, the A class used Microsoft Power Point with iSpring add-ons software and B class used Prezi. The method of this research is quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control grup design. The result showed that there were improvements in class used Prezi software with the average of improvement is 0,30 in cognitive aspect, 0,25 in affective aspect (low criteria) and 0,22 in psychomotor aspect (low criteria). Meanwhile, the result of class used iSpring is 0,36 in cognitive aspect, in 0,15 in affective aspect (low criteria) and 0,09 in psychomotor aspect 0,22 (low criteria).
