Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fakta di lapangan yang bersumber dari data bahwa semakin meningkatnya dekadensi moral di kalangan remaja. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan agama di sekolah menjadi salah satu wadah untuk membentuk karakter siswa yang memiliki kesadaran beragama bukan hanya berstatus menganut agama. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Peneliti mencari dan mengumpulkan data dari buku primer Zakiah Daradjat untuk menuangkan menjadi konsep Pendidikan Agama Islam bagi remaja lebih terfokus di sekolah. Menariknya, pendidikan agama dalam perspektif Zakiah Daradjat merupakan kombinasi antara pendekatan religi dengan kesehatan mental. Dari hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan agama bagi kaum remaja menurut Zakiah Daradjat menjadi penting karena sesuai dengan kebutuhan remaja yang terkadang yakin dan bimbang dalam beragama, pada akhirnya urgensi dari penelitian ini berkaitan dengan komponen pendidikan diantaranya meliputi pendidik, peserta didik, tujuan pendidikan, peran dan fungsi pendidikan, prinsip pendidikan, lingkungan pendidikan, materi dan metode pendidikan yang selaras dengan kondisi perkembangan remaja.;---This research is prompted by data from the field which show the increasing moral decadence among adolescents. Therefore, religious education in schools becomes one of the media to form the character of students who have religious awareness rather than merely having the status of embracing a religion. The research used descriptive method and qualitative approach. The researcher sought and collected data from Zakiah Daradjat's primary books to turn her ideas into a concept of Islamic Education for adolescents that is more focused in school setting. Interestingly, religious education in the perspective of Zakiah Daradjat is a combination of religious approach and mental health. From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that religious education for adolescents according to Zakiah Daradjat becomes important because it is in accordance with the needs of adolescents who are sometimes convinced and some other times doubtful with their religion. Ultimately, the urgency of this research is related to the components of education, including educators, learners, education goals, roles and functions of education, educational principles, educational environment, and education materials and methods that are suitable to adolescent development.
