Abstract

Permasalahan retensi karyawan menjadi isu kontemporer dalam Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (MSDM) di seluruh dunia karena retensi karyawan merupakan komponen krusial bagi efektivitas organisasi. Organisasi menjadi lebih efektif jika memelihara tingginya retensi karyawan. Rendahnya tingkat retensi karyawan akan akan menyebabkan menurunnya kinerja, produktivitas, dan efektivitas perusahaan, salah satunya terdapat di Indonesia yang mengalami hal tersebut khususnya pada PT. Baett Mal Abadi di Cilegon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh (1) gambaran lingkungan kerja sosial, (2) gambaran penghargaan finansial, (3) gambaran retensi karyawan, (4) pengaruh lingkungan sosial dan penghargaan finansial terhadap retensi karyawan, (5) pengaruh lingkungan sosial terhadap retensi karyawan, dan (6) pengaruh penghargaan finansial terhadap retensi karyawan. Metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey dengan teknik sampel yaitu non-probability sampling menggunakan sampel jenuh yang berjumlah 86 responden. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan alat bantu software komputer Statistical Product for Service Solutions (SPSS) 23.0 for windows. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gambaran lingkungan kerja sosial dalam kategori baik, gambaran penghargaan finansial dalam kategori sesuai, gambaran retensi karyawan dalam kategori tinggi, dan retensi karyawan dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan kerja sosial dan penghargaan finansial. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disarankan lingkungan kerja sosial di perusahaan memperbaiki hubungan karyawan dengan atasan. Dalam segi pemberian penghargaan finansial disarankan agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan karyawan. Sehingga diharapkan lingkungan kerja sosial dan penghargaan finansial perlu diperhatikan lebih lanjut oleh perusahaan dalam menunjang peningkatan retensi karyawan.;--- Employee retention issues are a contemporary issue in Human Resource Management (HRM) worldwide because employee retention is a crucial component of organizational effectiveness. Organizations become more effective if maintaining high employee retention. The low level of employee retention will lead to decreased performance, productivity, and effectiveness of the company, one of which is in Indonesia which experienced it especially in PT. Baett Mal Abadi Cilegon. This study aims to obtain (1) description of social work environment, (2) description of financial reward, (3) description of employee retention, (4) influence of social work environment and financial reward of employee to employee retention, (5) influence of social work environment to employee retention, and (6) Influence of financial reward to employee retention. The method used is explanatory survey with sampling technique is non-probability saturation sampling amounted to 86 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with computer software tool for Statistical Product for Service Solutions (SPSS) 23.0 for windows. The findings of this study indicate that the description of social work environment is in the good category, description of financial reward is in the corresponding category, employee retention description is in the high category, and employee retentiom influenced by social work environment and financial reward. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that the social work environment in the company improve employee relationships with superiors. In terms of financial rewards it is advisable to meet the needs of employees. So it is expected that social work environment and financial reward need to be considered further by the department in supporting the increase of employee retention.
