Abstract
Penelitian yang berjudul “Pemilihan bahasa pada masyarakat Kelurahan Sukapura, Kecamatan Kiaracondong, Kota Bandung” ini memaparkan bagaimana masyarakat tutur di Kelurahan Sukapura dalam memilih kode bahasa untuk berinteraksi pada berbagai ranah dengan berbagai orang di berbagai kepentingan yang ada. Kelurahan Sukapura dipilih sebagai lokasi penelitian ini karena merupakan daerah dengan masyarakat yang heterogen, multikultur, dan multilingual. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan wujud pemilihan variasi kode bahasa pada masyarakat tutur di Kelurahan Sukapura, Kecamatan Kiaracondong, Kota Bandung, memaparkan faktor-faktor yang menjadi penentu pemilihan bahasa itu sendiri, mengungkap adanya persitiwa alih kode dan campur kode dalam tuturannya dengan mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang menjadi penentu. Pada masyarakat tutur di Kelurahan Sukapura. Untuk mengungkap akar permasalahan, maka penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Sosiolinguistik dan metode kualitatif. Sumber data diperoleh dari tuturan pada peristiwa tutur di ranah keluarga, ranah pekerjaan, ranah pergaulan, ranah pendidikan, dan ranah keagamaan. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengolah data yaitu menggunakan metode simak, metode libat dan metode cakap. Data yang berhasil disediakan dan telah diklasifikasikan, selanjutnya di paparkan secara jelas lalu dianalisis. Temuan pada penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ada tiga kode bahasa yang dominan digunakan oleh masyarakat tutur Kelurahan Sukapura, ketiga kode tersebut yaitu kode Bahasa Indonesia (BI), kode Bahasa Sunda (BS), dan Kode Bahasa Jawa (BJ). Faktor penentu dalam pemilihan bahasa itu sendiri yaitu faktor situasi tutur, faktor peserta tutur, dan faktor norma. Pada pemilihan kode bahasa di setiap peristiwa tutur muncul fenomena alih kode dengan kode BI, BS, dan BJ, fenomena campur kode dengan kode BI, BS, BJ, dan bahasa asing (BA). Perubahan pemilihan kode bahasa yang terjadi pada peristiwa tutur akibat adanya fenomena alih kode dan campur kode ini, karena faktor bahasa ibu (B1) penutur, keterbatasan penutur dalam penggunaan kode bahasa, penggunaan istilah yang populer, dan kehadiran penutur ketiga dalam peristiwa tutur. Kata kunci: pemilihan bahasa, masyarakat tutur bahasa Kelurahan Sukapura, alih kode, campur kode. The study, entitled " Selection of language in society Sukapura Village , District Kiaracondong , City of Bandung " is explained how the speech community in the Village Sukapura in choosing the language code to interact in a variety of domains with different people in a variety of interests that exist . Sukapura urban villages selected for this study because it is an area with a heterogeneous society , multicultural , and multilingual . The purpose of this study was to describe the form of the election code of language variation in the speech community in the Village Sukapura , Kiaracondong District , City of Bandung , explained the factors that determines the selection of the language itself , revealed a mixed event code switching and code in the speech by describing the factors - a decisive factor . In the speech community in the Village Sukapura . To uncover the root of the problem , this study uses qualitative approaches and methods Sociolinguistics . Sources of data obtained from the speech at the event said in the family realm , the realm of employment , social realm , the realm of education , and religious realm . The technique used to process the data that refer to the method , the method involved and competent method . Successful data provided and has been classified , the next in the mentioned clearly and then analyzed . The findings in this study indicate that there are three dominant language code used by the speech community Sukapura Village , the third code is a code Indonesian ( BI ) , Sundanese language code ( BS ) , and the Java language code ( BJ ) . The deciding factor in the selection of the language itself is factor explained the situation , said participants factor , and the factor norm . At the election of the language code in any event said the phenomenon appeared over the code with BI , BS , and BJ , the phenomenon of mixed code with BI , BS , BJ , and foreign language ( BA ) . Changes in the election code of language that occurs in said event due to the phenomenon of code switching and code is mixed , because of the mother tongue ( B1 ) speakers , limitations in the use of code language speakers , the popular use of the term , and the presence of three speakers in the said event .
