Abstract
Permasalahan lingkungan merupakan satu dari tiga permasalahan global yang dihadapi oleh negara-negara di dunia. Menurut Badan Lingkungan Hidup kota Surabaya, kota Surabaya saat ini masih memiliki banyak persoalan lingkungan hidup, seperti ketersediaan air bersih, sampah dan pencemaran udara. Tri Rismaharini sebagai Walikota Surabaya memiliki tanggung jawab untuk menjaga kelestarian lingkungan kota Surabaya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menyelidiki tentang pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan Walikota Surabaya terhadap Karakter warga Surabaya dalam pelestarian lingkungan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode Mix Design dengan sampel penelitian yaitu warga Surabaya. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Tri Rismaharini menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan Transformasional kemudian gaya kepemimpinan Tri Rismaharini berpengaruh signifikan terhadap karakter warga Surabaya dalam pelestarian lingkungan dengan nilai signifikansi = 0.020 < dari 0.05 dan nilai t hitung = 2.341 > dari t tabel = 1.968. Artinya bahwa Hipotesis yang diajukan oleh Peneliti dan Hipotesis Alternatifnya diterima, yaitu terdapat pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan Tri Rismaharini terhadap karakter warga Surabaya dalam pelestarian lingkungan. ;---Environmental issues are one of three global problems faced by countries in the world. According to Surabaya Environment Agency, Surabaya city still has many environmental issues, such as the availability of clean water, garbage and air pollution. Tri Rismaharini as Mayor of Surabaya has the responsibility to preserve the environment of Surabaya city. Therefore, this research investigates about the influence of Surabaya Mayor's leadership style on the character of Surabaya residents in environmental conservation. The research method used Mix Design method with the research sample that is Surabaya citizen.Data collection techniques such as observation, interview and questionnaire. The result of the research shows that Tri Rismaharini used Transformasional leadership style and her leadership style has significant influence on the character of Surabaya residents in environmental conservation with significance value = 0.020 <from 0.05 and t value = 2,341> from t table = 1.968. it means that Hypoteses which showed by researcher or Alternative Hypoteses are received and there is influence of tri Rismaharini leadership style to character (disposition of citizen) surabaya citizen in environmental preservation.
