Abstract

Dunia otomotif khususnya motor bakar dikenal dengan berbagai macam sistem yang bekerja. Sistem-sistem tersebut bekerja saling berkaitan antara satu dengan yang lainnya, sehinngga apabila salah satu sistem tersebut mengalami kerusakan, maka engine mobil akan mengalami kerusakan. Sistem-sistem tersebut adalah sistem kelistrikan, sistem bahan bakar, sistem pelumasan, sistem pendingin. Sistem pelumasan merupakan sistem yang berfungsi sebagai media pelumasan bagian- bagian engine yang bergerak sebagai pendukung kerja. Sistem pelumasan sangat berperan penting dalam proses kerja engine, apabila terjadi kerusakan pada sistem pelumasan maka kerja engine akan terganggu. Dalam proses kerjanya komponen-komponen sistem pelumasan dapat mengalami gangguan-gangguan atau masalah setelah digunakan dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Gangguan-gangguan yang sering terjadi pada sistem pelumasan yaitu: terlalu rendah atau tinggi pada tekanan oli, boros pada pemakaian oli, dan oli berubah menjadi encer. Dari berbagai gangguan tersebut biasanya terdengar bunyi abnormal pada bagian dalam engine khususnya pada bagian block silinder diantaranya yaitu: crank shaft, connecting rod, dan piston. Kerusakan tersebut bisa diakibatkan oleh besarnya gesekan yan terjadi atau kurangnya pelumasan pada bagian komponen tersebut.;--- The automotive world, especially the motor fuel, is known for its various working systems. These systems work interrelatedly with each other, so if one of the system is damaged, then the engine of the car will be damaged. These systems are electrical systems, fuel systems, lubrication systems, cooling systems. Lubrication system is a system that serves as a lubrication medium engine parts that move as a support work. Lubrication system plays an important role in the work process engine, in case of damage to the lubrication system then the engine work will be disrupted. In the process of working the components of the lubrication system can experience interruptions or problems after use in a long time. Disturbances that often occur in the lubrication system that is: too low or high in the oil pressure, wasteful on the use of oil, and oil turned into dilute. Of the various disorders are usually heard abnormal sounds on the inside of the engine, especially on the block cylinder include: crank shaft, connecting rod, and piston. The damage can be caused by the amount of friction that occurs or the lack of lubrication on the component parts.
