Abstract

Penelitian penerapan Interactive Lecture Demonstration berorientasi konstruksi konsepsi telah dilakukan untuk meningkatkan levels dan models of understanding serta kemampuan analisis siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design dan one shot case study. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 22 siswa kelas X MIA 1 di salah satu SMA di Kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan analisis berbentuk tes essay yang sebelumnya telah dijudgement dan diujicobakan. Peningkatan levels of understanding dan perubahan models of understanding siswa ditentukan melalui perbandingan persentase jumlah siswa pada setiap level dan model pemahaman baik dari hasil pretest dan posttest. Peningkatan kemampuan analisis siswa dianalisis dengan menghitung gain ternormalisasi. Dengan hampir seluruh kegiatan pembelajaran terlaksana dengan baik dan mendapat respon yang sangat positif dari siswa membuat levels of understanding siswa mengalami peningkatan yang terlihat dari peningkatan persentase siswa pada level sound understanding dari 2% - 38%. Models of understanding siswa berubah positif dimana lebih banyak siswa termasuk optimum model (dari 4,6% - 60,2%). Kemampuan analisis siswa meningkat sedang dengan gain ternormalisasi 0,5.------------ Research on the implementation of Interactive Lecture Demonstration-oriented conception constructions has been done to improve levels and models of understanding and students' analytical skills. The research method used is quasi experiment with one group pretest-posttest design design and one shot case study. This research was conducted on 22 students of class X MIA 1 in one of high school in Bandung. The instruments used are concept comprehension test and analytical skills in the form of essay tests that have been previously tested and tested. Increasing levels of understanding and changes in the models of understanding of students is determined by comparison of the percentage of the number of students at each level and the model of good understanding of the pretest and posttest results. Increased students' analytical skills were analyzed by calculating the normalized gain. With almost all learning activities performed well and received a very positive response from students make the level of understanding of students experiencing a visible improvement of the percentage of students at the level of sound understanding of 2% - 38%. Models of understanding change positive students where more students include the optimum model (from 4.6% - 60.2%). The students' analytical skills increased moderately with a normalized gain of 0.5.
