Abstract
Latar belakang dilakukan penelitian ini diantaranya adalah dunia pendidikan yang selalu dituntut untuk meningkatkan mutu kualitas proses pembelajaran. Salah satu cara meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran adalah mengembangkan program aplikasi yang relevan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menjawab permasalahan penelitian yang telah dirumuskan, yaitu : “Apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan program aplikasi Articulate Engage 09 dengan program aplikasi Power Point terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Keterampilan Komputer dan Pengelolaan Informasi ?”. Secara lebih rinci rumusan masalah ini terdiri dari : 1). Apakah terdapat perbedaan antara penggunaan program aplikasi Articulate Engage 09 dibandingkan dengan program aplikasi Power Point terhadap hasil belajar siswa aspek memahami pada mata pelajaran Keterampilan Komputer dan Pengelolaan Informasi pokok bahasan aplikasi basis data?. 2). Apakah terdapat perbedaan antara penggunaan program aplikasi Articulate Engage 09 dibandingkan dengan program aplikasi Power Point terhadap hasil belajar siswa aspek menerapkan pada mata pelajaran Keterampilan Komputer dan Pengelolaan Informasi pokok bahasan aplikasi basis data?. 3). Apakah terdapat perbedaan antara penggunaan program aplikasi Articulate Engage 09 dibandingkan dengan program aplikasi Power Point terhadap hasil belajar siswa aspek menganalisis pada mata pelajaran Keterampilan Komputer dan Pengelolaan Informasi pokok bahasan aplikasi basis data?. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain control group pre test and post test. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes objektif. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t independen sample test. Kesimpulan umum hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan program aplikasi Articulate Engage 09 dibandingkan dengan program aplikasi Power Point terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Keterampilan Komputer dan Pengelolaan Informasi (KKPI). Hasil temuan ini memberikan rekomendasi kepada Guru dan Peneliti selanjutnya dalam memanfaatkan program aplikasi Articulate. Kata Kunci : Program Aplikasi, Articulate Engage 09, Hasil Belajar Siswa, Keterampilan Komputer dan Pengelolaan Informasi ( KKPI ). The background of the study is the education that always claimed to improve the quality of the learning process. One way to improve the quality of learning is to develop the programs application that are relevant in the learning activities. This study answers the research problems that have been formulated, namely: Is there an effect of using program application Articulate Engage 09 with Power Point application program on student learning outcomes in Information and Communication Technology subject ? ". In more detail the problem formulation consists of : 1). Is there any difference between the use of program application Articulate Engage 09 compared to the Power Point program on aspects of student learning outcomes to understand the subject of database in Information Communication and Technology Subject?. 2). Is there any difference between the use of application programs Articulate Engage 09 compared with the Power Point application program to implement aspects of student learning outcomes to understand the subject of database in Information Communication and Technology Subject? 3). Is there a difference between the use of application programs Articulate Engage 09 compared with the Power Point application program to analyze aspects of student learning outcomes to understand the subject of database in Information Communication and Technology Subject?. This study uses a quantitative approach, the method is quasi-experimental control group design with pre test and post test. The instrument used in this research is objective tests. Independent sample t-test was using to test the Hypothesis. General conclusions from this study is, there is an effect of using application program compared with 09 Articulate Engage program Power Point application to student learning outcomes in subjects Computer Skills and Information Management. These findings provide a recommendation to the Teacher and Researchers further in using Articulate application program.
