Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model problem based learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dengan pre-test dan post-test. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Quasi experimental design. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua kelompok. Kelompok yang pertama yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelompok yang kedua yaitu kelas kontrol. Kedua kelompok tersebut diberi pretest dan posttest yang sama dengan populasi target yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Sukabumi jurusan Pemasaran, sedangkan populasi terjangkaunya dua kelas, siswa kelas X. Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument penelitian berupa metode dokumentasi, metode tes dan metode wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode problem based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif.----------- This research aims to find out whether there is influence of the application of the model of problem based learning (PBL) towards student’s creative thinking abilities through pre-test and post-test. The method used in this research was quasi experimental design method. The implementation of this research was conducted in two groups. The first group is an experiment class and the second group is the control class. The two groups were given a pre-test and post-test with the same target population i.e. the whole X grade SMK Negeri 2 Sukabumi majoring in marketing, while the accessible population were two classes of X grade students. The method of data collection that is used as an instrument of the research is a method of documentation, test method and the method of interview. The results of this study concluded that there is an influence of the application of the method of problem based learning towards creative thinking ability.
