Abstract

Buku pengayaan konteks sel surya berbasis sensitasi pewarna dibuat dengan mengintegrasikan kompetensi kurikulum 2013 dan empat aspek literasi sains PISA 2015. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan buku pengayaan konteks sel surya berbasis sensitasi pewarna dan potensinya untuk membangun literasi sains siswa SMA. Latar belakang dikembangkannya penelitian ini adalah rendahnya literasi sains siswa Indonesia pada studi PISA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode evaluatif dengan adaptasi model 4D yang hanya terdiri dari tahap define, design, dan develop. Karakteristik penelitian ini adalah inovasi konten kurikulum kimia dengan mengaitkan konteks teknologi berupa sel surya berbasis sensitasi pewarna dan cairan ionik dengan konten kimia SMA, yang meliputi ikatan kovalen, larutan elektrolit, reaksi redoks, gaya elektrostatik, gaya London, sel Volta, dan sifat unsur transisi periode 4. Perbaikan terhadap teks dilakukan berdasarkan validasi ahli dan uji keterpahaman. Uji keterpahaman dilakukan dalam dua tahap dengan persentase keterpahaman aspek sikap sebesar 97%, pengetahuan sebesar 93%, dan keterampilan sebesar 83%. Persentase tersebut menunjukkan bahwa setiap aspek yang dikembangkan di dalam buku pengayaan memiliki keterpahaman tinggi dan berada pada kategori mandiri, artinya pembaca tidak membutuhkan bantuan guru/instruktur untuk memahami teks. Hasil tersebut juga menunjukkan potensi buku pengayaan konteks sel surya berbasis sensitasi pewarna untuk membangun literasi sains siswa SMA. ---------- The dye-sensitized solar cell context enrichment book is created by integrating the competencies of Kurikulum 2013 and four aspects of PISA 2015 scientific literacy. The purpose of this research is to produce dye sensitized solar cell context enrichment books and its potential to build the science literacy of high school students. The development background of this research is the low level of scientific literacy of Indonesian students in PISA study. The research method that is used is an the evaluative method with adaptation of 4D model which only consist of define, design, and develop stage. The characteristic of this research is the content innovation of the chemistry curriculum by connecting technological context in the form of dye sensitized solar cell and ionic liquids with high school chemistry content, include covalent bonding, electrolyte solutions, redox reactions, electrostatic force, London force, Volta cells, and properties of the transition elements of period 4. Improvements to the text are done through expert validation and comprehension test. The comprehension test was conducted in two stages with the percentage of comprehension attitude aspect 97%, knowledge 93%, and skill 83%. The percentage indicates that each developed aspect has a high level of comprehension and is at independent category, meaning the reader does not need the help of the teacher/instructor to understand the text. These results show the potential of dye sensitized solar cell context enrichment book to build the scientific literacy of high school students.
