Abstract

Akhir - akhir ini banyak lembaga keuangan syariah yang bermunculan, salah satu diantaranya adalah Baitul Maal Wa Tamwi (BMT). Perkembangan jumlah BMT tersebut tidak diimbangi dengan jumlah modal yang cukup sehingga mengakibatkan profit yang diterima terbatas. Keterbatasan tersebut mengakibatkan keberadaan BMT relatif tidak lama dan pada akhirnya tidak beroperasi kembali (bangkrut). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk milihat Intellectual Capital BMT dan mengukur pengaruh Intellectual Capital yang dimiliki oleh BMT terhadap profitabilitas di BMT Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dan verifikatif. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu studi literatur dan dokumentasi dari hasil laporan BMT dan dari Dinas Koperasi dan UMKM Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda data panel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai Intelletctual Capital BMT di Kabupaten Bandung Barat berada pada kategori bad performance, begitupula dengan hasil nilai Return on Asset berada pada kategori tidak sehat. Adapun hasil uji pengaruh dari Intellectual Capital terhadap profitabilitas menunjukan bahwa Intellectual Capital dengan Indikator Value Added Capital Asset (VACA) berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap Profitabilitas., Value Added Human Capital (VAHU) berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap Profitabilitas, Structure Capital Value Added (STVA) berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap Profitabilitas dan hasil uji pengaruh secara simultan VACA, VAHU, STVA berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan pedoman untuk menjadi bahan evaluasi untuk BMT dalam mengambil langkah – lengkah kebijkan yang akan diambil kedepannya.----------- Nowadays many of sharia financial institutions are appeared, one of them is Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT). The development of numbers of BMT are not balanced with the amount of capital so that the profit always turns out to be low or limited. That limitation gives impact on the existence of BMT which is relatively not long and it will end up collapse. This study aims to look at the Intellectual Capital of BMT and measure the influence of BMT's Intellectual Capital towards BMT's profitability in West Bandung regency. The method used in this research is descriptive and verification. The data used in this research is secondary data which is supported by literature study, the result of BMT’s report, and the documentations from Department of Cooperatives and SMEs in West Bandung regency. Data analysis technique used in this research is multiple regression model for panel data.. The results showed that not only the value of Intelletctual Capital BMT in West Bandung regency are still in the category of bad performance, but also the value of Return on Assets is in the unhealthy category. Furthermore, the test result between the impact of Intellectual Capital and the profitability, showed that Intellectual Capital whose indicators are Capital Asset Value Added (VACA) positively and significantly influence the profitability, Value Added Human Capital (VAHU) positively and significantly influence the profitability, Structural Capital Value Added (STVA) positively and significantly influence the profitability positively and significantly influence the profitability and also the test result as simultaneous VACA, VAHU and STVA positively and significantly influence the profitability . This study is expected to be used as guidelines for BMT in evaluating their performance and in creating the next policy that can develop themselves for a better future.
