Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena adanya konflik antara orang tua tunggal dan anak, khususnya konflik yang terjadi terkait perilaku pergaulan bebas yang dilakukan oleh pihak anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab anak terlibat perilaku pergaulan bebas. Selain itu, untuk melihat bagaimana pola komunikasi antara orang tua tunggal dan anak, bagaimana komunikasi interpersonal antara orang tua tunggal dan anak saat terlibat konflik, dan bagaimana resolusi konflik yang dilakuka pihak orang tua tunggal dan pihak anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualititatif dan metode deskriptif untuk mempaparkan hasil penelitianya. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, teknik wawancara, dan membercheck dari pihak-pihak yang temasuk keriteri penelitian. Informan penelitian terdiri dari orang tua tunggal dan anak yang terlibat perilaku pergaulan bebas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konflik antara orang tua tunggal dan anak karena terlibatny anak berperilaku pergaulan bebas, yang disebabkan karena faktor broken home dan faktor lingkungan. Resolusi konflik yng dilakukan oleh dua kelurga yang dilihat dari faktor pola komunikasi, komunikasi intrepersonal, dan menemukan solusi untuk menyelesaikan konflik yang terjadi mengenai perilaku pergaulan bebas yang ilakukan oleh anak, terbetuk pola komunikasi dalam resolusi konflik atara orang tua tunggal dan anak mengenai perilaku pergaulan bebas yang dilakukan anak, yaitu Pola Komunikasi Keharmonisan dan Pola Komunikasi Kesadaran. Pola Keharmonisan terbentuk karena antara orang tua tunggal dan anak sama-sama bersikap saling mendukung dan membantu secara harmonis agar konflik yang sedang terjadi dapat terselesaikan. Pola Kesadaran terbentuk karena antara orang tua tunggal dan anak sama-sama memiliki kesadaran setelah semua cara telah dilakukan dalam menyelsaikan masalah yang selama ini dijlani belum menemukan titik temu, dan kedua pola ini menjadi upaya yang paling efektif untuk mengatasi konflik ini.---------- This research is motivated by the conflict between single parent and child, especially the conflicts that occur related to the free association behavior done by the child. This study aims to determine the factors causing children involved behavior of free association. In addition, to see how communication patterns are between single parent and child, how is interpersonal communication between single parent and child during conflict, and how conflict resolution is solved by single parent and child side. This research uses qualitative approach and descriptive method to expose the research result. Data collection in this study using observation techniques, interview techniques, and membercheck of the parties including keriteri research. The research informants consisted of single parents and children involved in free association behavior. The results of this study indicate that conflicts between single parents and children due to the involvement of children behave promiscuity, caused by broken home factors and environmental factors. Conflict resolution by two families viewed from communication pattern factors, intrepersonal communication, and finding solutions to resolve conflicts that occur on the free behavior of child abuse, establish communication patterns in conflict resolution among single parents and children about the behavior of promiscuity which is done by the child, that is Communication Pattern of Harmony and Communication Pattern of Awareness. Harmony patterns are formed because between single parents and children are equally supportive and help harmoniously in order for the ongoing conflict to be resolved. The Consciousness pattern is formed because between single parents and children alike have awareness after all the ways have been done in resolving problems that have not yet come to a common ground, and these two patterns become the most effective means of resolving this conflict.
