Abstract

Praktisi homeschooling sering mengalami kesulitan dalam manajemen pembelajaran, sumber belajar, dan rekapitulasi penilaian karena pelaksanaan homeschooling yang menjadi lebih kompleks seiring dengan usia anak yang bertambah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mencoba merancang aplikasi yang memfasilitasi orangtua dalam manajemen dan proses pembelajaran homeschooling dalam bentuk E-Learning yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik homeschooling dan menggunakan aplikasi E-Learning yang sudah ada sebagai acuan. Aplikasi E- Learning ini selanjutnya disebut HomeschoolApp, dibangun dengan metode pengembangan waterfall, mulai dari analisis, desain, implementasi aplikasi, dan uji usabilitas dari aplikasi HomeschoolApp. Uji usabilitas dilakukan berdasarkan kriteria penilaian yang diadaptasi dari ISO 9126-Usability model. Karakteristik dari model ISO 9126-Usability yaitu: 1) Understandability; 2) Learnability; 3) Operability; dan 4) Attractiveness. Hasil pengujian usabilitas menunjukkan bahwa tingkat usabilitas aplikasi HomeschoolApp ini memiliki kriteria sangat baik dengan skor 82.05%. Aplikasi HomeschoolApp tersebut pada saat ini telah berhasil diterapkan dengan nama domain homeschoolapp.org. ---------- Homeschooling parent still found that learning management, resources management, and evaluation were getting harder and more complicated as their children grew up. Therefore, this research tries to design and implement an application that can facilitate parent in learning management, resources management, and evaluation in a shape of E-Learning that relevant to homeschooling characteristics and uses the relevant existed E-Learning for references. This E-Learning application for homeschooling called HomeschoolApp, builds with waterfall waterfall method with sequencial linear model that starts with Analysis about homeschooling characteristics and analysis about E-Learning application that existed, Design the HomeschoolApp Architecture, Implementation of HomeschoolApp, and usability test about HomeschoolApp. Usability test based on scoring criteria from ISO 9126-Usability model. The characteristics of model ISO 9126-Usability were: 1) Understandability; 2) Learnability; 3) Operability; 4) Attractiveness. Usability test shows that usability level of HomeschoolAppE-learning was very good with the score 82.05%. The HomeschoolApp E-Learning was finish implemented with the domain name homeschoolapp.org.
