Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena penilaian kinerja di SMKN TPTU dengan mengamati hasil kerja, presentasi, dan laporan. Hal tersebut tidak sesuai dengan Permendikbud No 81A. Kemudian media pembelajaran dianggap monoton sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menangkap materi yang disampaikan oleh guru, akibatnya banyak siswa yang belum mencapai nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimum (KKM). Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan simulator sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan sebagai alat bantu tes kinerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan alat tes kinerja dan kognitif yang tervalidasi, mengetahui evaluasi kinerja dan kognitif hasil belajar dengan berbantuan simulator. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R&D). Tahap penelitian ini diantaranya: 1) Pendefinisian; 2) Perancangan; 3) Pengembangan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh alat tes kinerja yang telah tervalidasi isi dan alat tes kognitif yang tervalidasi isi, konstruk dan reliabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan evaluasi hasil belajar psikomotor pekerjaan pengkabelan kontrol sistem refrigerasi memperoleh nilai rata-rata 91,7, pekerjaan pengaturan MTC memperoleh nilai rata-rata 88,3. Sedangkan evaluasi hasil belajar kognitif memperoleh nilai rata-rata 83,5. Pengembangan simulator mikrokomputer temperatur kontrol dapat membantu mencapai nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimum (KKM) sebanyak 88,6%. ---------- The background of this research is because performance assessment at SMKN TPTU by observing the work, presentations, and reports. It is not in accordance with the Permendikbud No. 81A. Then, learning media considered monotonous so that students have difficulty in capturing the material presented by the teacher, as a result many students have not yet reached the value minimum completenes criteria (KKM). Therefore, it takes a simulator as a lerning media to improve student learning outcomes and performance assessment tool. This research aims to produce performance assessment and cognitive validated, knowing the performance evaluation and cognitive evaluations against outcomes learning by using the simulator. This research method using the method research and development (R&D). This research phase include: 1) Defining; 2) Designing; 3) Development. The research results obtained performance assessment validated content and cognitive test tool validated content, constructs, and reliable. The research results indicate assessment of psychomotor learning task wiring control refrigeration system obtained an average value of 91,7, task setting MTC obtained an average value 88,3. While the assessment of cognitive learning earns an average value of 83,5. Development of simulator microcomputer temperature control can help achieve value minimum completenes criteria (KKM) as much as 88,6%.
