Abstract

Upaya pengendalian daya rusak sungai oleh pemerintah dengan membangun berbagai infrasturuktur seperti krib permeable, krib impermeable, pelindung tebing, dll., selama ini cukup efektif. Namun upaya itu tidak efisien dari segi biaya karena membutuhkan biaya konstruksi dan perawatan yang besar. Rekayasa geometri saluran diperlukan untuk menemukan solusi pengendalian daya rusak sungai yang lebih efisien. Pada penelitian ini diamati pengaruh kemiringan dasar melintang terhadap faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi dan indikator perubahan morfologi sungai berupa pola aliran, kecepatan arah longitudinal, tampang melintang, dan volume agradasi dan degradasi. Percobaan dilakukan pada saluran berbentuk trapesium dengan lebar dasar 25 cm, tinggi 6 cm dan kemiringan talud 1 : 1. Saluran memiliki sudut tikungan sebesar 90º dengan jari – jari 148 cm, kemiringan dasar memanjang 0,0033 dengan percobaan lima kemiringan dasar arah melintang (e) : seri 1 (e = 0%), seri 2 (e = 10%), seri 3 (e = 15%), seri 4 (e = -10%), seri 5 (e = -15%). Debit yang digunakan adalah 2,53 liter/detik. Media yang digunakan adalah pasir dengan d50 = 0,61 mm dan d65 = 0,9 mm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penambahan kemiringan melintang positif mengakibatkan perubahan pola aliran dimana kecepatan maksimum pada bagian tengah – akhir tikungan berada di bagian tengah penampang, penurunan kecepatan longitudinal, dan terjadi penurunan tingkat kerusakan dinding saluran. Penambahan kemiringan baik bernilai positif maupun negatif mengakibatkan pengurangan volume agradasi dan penambahan volume degradasi.----------Efforts to control the destructive force of the river by the government to build various infrasturucture as permeable groyne, impermeable groyne, revertment, etc., Has been quite effective. But these efforts are not efficient in terms of cost because the cost of construction and major maintenance. Geometry engineering of channels is needed to find a solution for river damaged power control more efficient. This research observed the influence of base slope transverse to the factors that influence and indicate river morphology change in the form of the flow pattern, velocity in the longitudinal direction, cross section, and volume of agradation and degradation. The experiments were performed on a trapezoidal channel with a base width of 25 cm, height 6 cm and the slope of the embankments 1: 1. The channel has a bend angle of 90º with the radius 148 cm, the slope of longitudinal 0.0033 with five trial of slope transverse (e ): series 1 (e = 0%), series 2 (e = 10%), series 3 (e = 15%), series 4 (e = -10%), series 5 (e = -15%). Flow rate that used is 2.53 liters / sec. The media of experiment is sand with d50 = 0.61 mm and d65 = 0.9 mm. The results showed addition of the positive transverse slope cause the flow patterns at middle – end bend change where the maximum velocity go through the middle cross – section, a decrease the longitudinal velocity, and a decrease destruction of the channel wall. Addition positive or negative slope either result in an increase in volume of degradation and decrease the volume of agradation.
