    Abstract

    Mendongeng dan bercerita merupakan salah satu kemampuan berbahasa yang penting bagi siswa, tetapi ditemukan permasalahan pada kemampuan mendongeng siswa kelas VII G di SMP Negeri 12 Bandung. Sebanyak 88,89% siswa yang nilainya masih di bawah KKM dan dikatakan belum lulus dalam kompetensi menceritakan kembali cerita fantasi. Sebanyak 7,41% siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM dengan nilai 76 berada di rentang skala 2,85 -3,17 (B) sedangkan sebanyak 3,7% siswa tidak hadir. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek melalui gogolekan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mendongeng siswa. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan, yaitu untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil dari proses pembelajaran mendongeng cerita fantasi yang mengambil cerita Mahabarata/Ramayana dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek melalui gogolekan. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan desain penelitian perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui perencanaan pembelajaran meliputi perancangan konsep dan cara belajar selama kelas diberi tindakan, pelaksanaan yang meliputi pemberian tindakan kepada siswa kelas VII G selama dua siklus, hasil dari pembelajaran di antaranya, terjadi peningkatan antara siklus I ke siklus II, pada siklus I rerata kelas hanya memperoleh nilai 60,1 dan siswa yang telah mencapai KKM hanya sebanyak 11,11% sedangkan pada siklus II rerata kelas mencapai nilai 77, 48% dengan siswa yang mencapai KKM sebayak 85% . Hal ini menjelaskan telah terjadi kenaikan yang cukup signifikan dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu sebesar 73, 89% . Penelitian ini telah berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan mendongeng siswa kelas VII G SMP Negeri 12 Bandung.---------- Storytelling is one of the important language ability for students, but discovered problems in the ability of storytelling students of class VII G in SMP Negeri 12 Bandung. As many as 88.89% of students whose value is still below the KKM scores and said to have not passed the competence to retell the fantasy story. Therefore, researchers conduct classroom action research by applying project-based learning model through gogolekan to improve students' storytelling. This research has a purpose, that is to know planning, execution, and result of learning process of storytelling fantasy that take story Mahabarata/Ramayana by applying project-based learning model through gogolekan. The research method used is classroom action research with design research planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Based on the results of research, it is known that learning planning includes the design of the concept and the way of learning during the class is given the action, the implementation which involves giving the action to the students of class VII G for two cycles, the result of learning among them, there is an increase between cycle I to cycle II, the average class score only 60.1 and the students who have reached the KKM only 11.11% while in the second cycle average grade reached 77, 48% with students who reach KKM sebayak 85%. This explains that there has been a significant increase from cycle I to cycle II that is equal to 73, 89%. This research has succeeded in improve the ability of storytelling students of class VII G SMP Negeri 12 Bandung.
