Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung. Permasalahan yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini ialah belum optimalnya efisiensi kerja pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu sistem kearsipan (X) dan efisiensi kerja pegawai (Y). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran efektivitas sistem kearsipan dan tingkat efisiensi kerja pegawai, selain itu adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh sistem kearsipan terhadap efisiensi kerja pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Responden adalah para pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung sebanyak 116 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Sistem kearsipan di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung berada pada kategori cukup baik, (2) Tingkat efisiensi kerja pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung berada pada kategori tinggi, (3) Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa sistem kearsipan mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap efisiensi kerja pegawai sebesar 30%. Hal tersebut merupakan suatu kontribusi yang cukup besar. Oleh karena itu sistem kearsipan perlu mendapat perhatian yang sungguh-sungguh dalam meningkatkan efisiensi kerja pegawai.---------- This research was conducted at Bandung Education Department. The problem that became the study in this research is not yet optimum work efficiency of employees in Bandung Education Department. This research consists of two variables namely filing system (X) and work efficiency of employee (Y). The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of archival system and level of work efficiency of employees, besides that is to know how big influence of filing system to work efficiency of employees in Bandung Education Department. The method used in this research is survey method with data collection technique using questionnaire. Respondents are the employees of the Education Department of Bandung as many as 116 people. Data analysis techniques used regression analysis. The result of the research shows that: (1) The archive system at Bandung Education Office is in good enough category, (2) The level of work efficiency of employees in Bandung Education Service is in high category, (3) Regression analysis result shows that archive system has influence positive to work efficiency of employees by 30%. It is a considerable contribution. Therefore, filing system needs to get serious attention in improving work efficiency of employees.
