Abstract
Perilaku Masyarakat Indonesia saat ini mengalami krisis budaya akibat pengaruh budaya asing yang masuk ke Indonesia. Pengaruh budaya asing yang bersifat negatif akan berdampak terhadap budaya kewarganegaraan (civic culture) masyarakat. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberi gambaran tentang pengembangan civic culture melalui nilai-nilai kearifan lokal adat Sunda. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi. Informan penelitian yaitu masyarakat adat dan masyarakat yang bukan adat di Kampung Cireundeu dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara,dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pola pikir dan sejarah perjuangan leluhur telah berhasil menjadi metode atau cara dalam melestarikan budaya leluhur seperti ketahanan pangan di kampung Cireundeu. --------------------------- The behavior of Indonesian communities is currently experiencing a cultural crisis due to the influence of foreign cultures that enter Indonesia. The negative influence of foreign culture will have an impact on civic culture of Indonesian society. Therefore, this study aims to describe of the development of civic culture through the values of Sundanese local wisdom. The research method uses a qualitative approach with ethnography method. The research informants are indigenous and non indigenous communities in Cireundeu village with data collection techniques such as observation, interview, and study the document. The results show that the mindset and history of ancestral struggle have succeeded to be a method or way to preserve local culture such as food security in Cireundeu village. The success from the standpoint of Citizenship/Civic Education (PKn) is as development of civic culture which became one of the estuary of learning objective Civics.
