Abstract

Remaja dapat mengalami konflik karena adanya harapan yang berbeda antara orang tua dan dirinya, satu sisi remaja mempunyai keinginan untuk lepas dari kontrol orang tua, namun di sisi lain tetap ingin meminta arahan atau bimbingan dari orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) memperoleh gambaran profil kemandirian emosional berdasarkan urutan kelahiran (2) memperoleh gambaran profil kemandirian emosional dilihat dari aspek-aspeknya (3) rekomendasi kepada guru BK untuk meningkatkan kemandirian emosional bagi anak sulung, tengah dan bungsu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain penelitian deskriptif. Sampel penelitian ialah siswa kelas VII SMPN 14 Bandung menggunakan purposive sampling. Statistika deskriptif digunakan untuk menganalisis data dan pengolahan data menggunakan model Rasch pada aplikasi Winstep. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian emosional anak sulung, tengah dan bungsu berada pada kategori sedang. Rekomendasi ditujukan kepada guru BK untuk memberikan layanan dalam meningkatkan kemandirian emosional dengan mempertimbangkan strategi dan teknik bimbingan untuk anak sulung, tengah, dan bungsu.

Teens may experience conflict due to different expectations between parents and theirselves, on one side, teenagers have a desire to escape from parental control, but on the other side they would still like to ask for direction or guidance from parents. This research aims to (1) acquire an overview profile of emotional autonomy based on birth order (2) acquire an overview profile of emotional autonomy based on the aspects (3) recommendation for guidance and counseling teacher to improve emotional autonomy for the eldest, middle, and youngest child. This research uses a quantitative approach and descriptive research design. The research samples are seventh grade students of SMPN 14 Bandung by using a purposive sampling. Descriptive statistic is used to analyse the data and data processing uses Rasch Model on Winstep application. The result of the research showed that emotional autonomy of the eldest, middle and youngest child is in the medium category. Recommendation is intended for the guidance and counseling teacher in order to provide service in improving the emotional autonomy by considering the strategy and technique of guidance for the eldest, middle, and youngest child.
