Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh masalah efektivitas kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Kuningan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengaruh dari lingkungan kerja dan karakteristik individu pada setiap pegawai untuk terciptanya efektivitas kinerja yang baik sehingga sesuai dengan visi dan misi yang ada pada Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Kuningan. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 52 orang pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Kuningan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan 1) Besaran pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja terhadap Efektivitas Kinerja Pegawai sebesar 49,4%. 2) Besaran pengaruh Karakteristik Individu terhadap Efektivitas Kinerja Pegawai sebesar 65,5%. 3) Besaran pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja dan Karakteristik Individu terhadap Efektivitas Kinerja Pegawai adalah sebesar 74,0%. Selebihnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Lingkungan Kerja dan Karakteristik Individu memberikan pengaruh terhadap Efektivitas Kinerja Pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Kuningan. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini yaitu lembaga harus bisa mempertahankan lingkungan kerja yang sudah kondusif, sehingga efektivitas kinerja para pegawai tetap terjaga dalam melayani kepentingan pendidikan. Pegawai Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Kuningan harus mempertahankan karakter individu yang sudah baik sehingga mampu mewujudkan tata kelola layanan pendidikan yang bermutu dan akuntabel dalam membentuk sumber daya manusia yang berkarakter, berprestasi dan berdaya saing. Kata kunci : Lingkungan Kerja, Karakteristik Individu, Efektivitas Kinerja ABSTRACT This research was based on the employee performance effectiveness at Department of Education and Culture in Kuningan Regency. It was focus on how working environment and individual characteristics influence against the employees to create good performance in accordance with the vision and mission of the institution. Descriptive method with quantitative approach was used in this research. It was conducted by 52 employees at the institution. The results of this research showed that 1). The influence of working environment against the employee performance effectiveness was 49,4%, 2). The influence of individual characteristics against the employee performance effectiveness was 65,5%, 3) The influence of working environment and individual characteristics against the employee performance effectiveness was 74,0 %. The rest was influenced by other factors. Based on the results, the working environment and individual characteristics give effect to the effectiveness of employee performance at the institution. The recommendation of this research is the institution should be able to maintain a conducive working environment, so that the effectiveness of employee performance is maintained in educational services. Furthermore employees of the institution should maintain good individual characters to create the good quality of educational services and forming human resources with good character, achievement and competitiveness.
