Abstract

Nasionalisme merupakan sistem budaya yang mencakup kesetiaan, komitmen, emosi, perasaan kepada bangsa dan negara dan adaya rasa memiliki serta bagaimana menjadi warga negara yang bertanggung jawab. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis penyebab banyaknya generasi muda putus sekolah, mengetahui pemahaman yang dimiliki generasi muda putus sekolah tentang nasionalisme dan tanggung jawab warga negara, dalam upaya mewujudkan tanggung jawab warga negara. Desa pagumenganmas memiliki angka putus sekolah yang cukup tinggi sehingga peneliti merasa bahwa perlu adanya penelitian mengenai pemahaman nasionalisme generasi muda putus sekolah.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : 1) kondisi sosial ekonomi orang tua menjadi faktor penyebab anak putus sekolah dan berbagai faktor lainnya 3) generasi muda putus sekolah sudah memiliki sikap nasioalisme dilihat dari kesadaran akan menjaga kedamaian bersama dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat;4) tanggung jawab yang dimiliki oleh generasi muda putus sekolah di desa pagumenganmas sebagian besar adalah bekerja sedangkan sebagai warga negara tanggung jawab sudah tercermin akan tetapi belum sepenuhnya. Kata Kunci : generasimudaputussekolah, nasionalisme, tanggungjawabwarganegara, Nationalism is a cultural system that includes loyalty, commitment, emotion, feeling to the nation and state and the sense of belonging and how to be a responsible citizen. The purpose of the study was to analyze the causes of many younger dropouts, knowing the understanding that young generation dropped out of nationalism and the responsibility of citizens, in the effort to realize the responsibility of citizens. Pagumenganmas village has a high dropout rate so that researchers feel that the need for research on understanding the nationalism of the young generation dropped out of school. This research uses qualitative approach with case study method. The results showed that: 1) socioeconomic condition of the parents became the factor causing drop out of school and other factors 3) the out-of-school youth already had attitude of nasioalisme seen from the awareness of keeping the peace together in the life of society; 4) the responsibilities held by the younger drop outs in pagumenganmas village are mostly work while the citizens of responsibility have been reflected but not yet fully.
