Abstract
Minat baca di Indonesia secara umum termasuk dalam kategori rendah. Hal yang sama juga terjadi di daerah, khususnya di Kecamatan Kerkap yang memiliki Taman Bacaan Masyarakat yang hanya dimanfaatkan sekitar 3,48% setiap bulannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis variabel sosial ekonomi, pemanfaatan teknologi, sarana prasarana dan motivasi belajar yang mempengaruhi minat baca terhadap efektivitas belajar warga belajar program pendidikan kesetaraan paket C di Taman Bacaan Masyarakat Kuntum Mekar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi sebanyak 137 orang sehingga dengan random sampling didapat sampel sebanyak 102 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur dengan pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel: sosial ekonomi, pemanfaatan teknologi, sarana dan prasarana berpengaruh terhadap minat baca. Secara parsial, sosial ekonomi, sarana dan prasarana, motivasi belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat baca. Secara simultan, sosial ekonomi, teknologi, sarana dan prasarana, motivasi belajar dan minat baca berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas belajar. Secara parsial, sosial ekonomi, teknologi, sarana dan prasarana, motivasi dan minat baca berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas belajar. Sosial ekonomi, sarana dan prasarana dan motivasi belajar berpengaruh langsung maupun tidak langsung terhadap efektivitas belajar, Kata Kunci : Minat Baca, Taman Bacaan Masyarakat, Efektivitas Belajar, Reading interest in Indonesia in general including in the low category. The same thing also happened in rural areas, especially in the sub district Kerkap which have community library only used around 3,48% each month. This research aims to analyze the economic social variable, utilization of the technology, means and infrastructure and motivation to learn that affect the effectiveness of the reading interest of student learning education program Paket C equality in Community Library Kuntum Mekar. This research uses quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The population as much as 137 people so with random sampling acquired samples as much as 102 people. Data analysis techniques used is path analysis with SPSS as the data processor. The results of the study showed that simultaneously variables: social economy, technology utilization, means and infrastructure affect the reading interest. Partially, social economy, infrastructure and the motivation to learn the significant effect of reading interest. Simultaneously, social economy, technology, means and infrastructure, motivation to learn and reading interest significant influence the effectiveness of learning. Partially, social economy, technology, means and infrastructure, motivation to learn and reading interest significant effect on the effectiveness of learning. The socio-economic, means and infrastructure and motivation to learn influence directly or indirectly against the effectiveness of learning.
