Abstract

Penggunaan NGR (Neutral Grounding Resistant) sebagai tahanan titik netral sekunder trafo merupakan bagian dari koordinasi proteksi dalam sistem kelistrikan karena tanpa pentanahan yang baik dapat membahayakan makhluk hidup yang ada di sekitar trafo dan bahkan dapat merusak trafo tersebut. Titik netral pada sekunder trafo ditanahkan melalui resistor dengan tujuan memperkecil arus gangguan yang mengalir pada titik netral. Pentanahan titik netral trafo berbeda dengan pentanahan peralatan/body trafo. Pada Gardu Induk Bandung Utara, dari 4 trafo yang beroperasi 3 trafo sudah menggunakan NGR tipe metalik sedangkan 1 trafo masih menggunakan NGR tipe likuid. Hasil pengukuran nilai tahanan NGR di Gardu Induk Bandung Utara menunjukkan kondisi NGR masih layak digunakan dan sesuai dengan syarat nilai tahanan titik netral trafo, yaitu 12Ω. Sebagai pembanding kinerja NGR trafo pada Gardu Induk diambil data beban dan gangguan pada trafo 1 (yang menggunakan NGR metalik) dan trafo 3 (yang menggunakan NGR likuid). Kedua trafo yang dijadikan objek penelitian memiliki rating dan kapasitas yang sama, yaitu 150/20KV dengan kapasitas 60 MVA. Dari data beban, didapat perhitungan losses pada NGR tipe metalik sebesar 3,76 kW dengan persentase losses 7,37 x 〖10〗^(-5) % sedangkan pada NGR tipe likuid didapat losses 25,1 kW dengan persentase losses 49,21 x 〖10〗^(-5) % Kata Kunci : Sistem Pentanahan, Titik Netral Trafo, NGR , The use of NGR (Neutral Grounding Resistant) as a resistance of secondary neutral point of transformer is part of the protection coordination in electricity system. Without a good ground, it can harm life creatures around the transformer and even damage the transformer itself. The neutral point of secondary part of transformer is grounded through resistor to reduce disruption current flowing at the neutral point. The grounding of transformer neutral point is different from grounding of transformer equipment/body. In North Bandung Substation, from 4 transformersthat operate, there are 3 transformers already using metallic NGR while 1 transformer still using liquid NGR. The result of NGR resistant value measurement on North Bandung Substation shows that the NGR is still feasible to use and correspond with the condition of the neutral point resistance of the transformer, which is12Ω.As a comparison of NGR transformer performance on the substation, the data is taken from the load and disruption on transformer 1 (which uses metallic NGR) and transformer 3 (which uses liquid NGR). The two transformers used in this study have a same rate and capacity, 150/20KV and 60 MVA. The load data showed the losses calculation on metallic NGR of 3,76 kW by losses percentage of 7,37 x 〖10〗^(-5) % whereas on the liquid NGR gained losses of 25,1 kW by losses percentage of 49,21 x 〖10〗^(-5) %.
