Abstract

Penetapan akreditasi lembaga menjadi salah satu indikator penilaian mutu dalam menyelenggarakan layanan peserta didik, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa lembaga yang telah terakreditasi akan memiliki mutu yang baik. Namun tidak semua lembaga memiliki kesiapan untuk mengikuti akreditasi. Pada penelitian ini untuk mengukur mutu lembaga kursus dan pelatihan dalam kesiapan mengikuti akreditasi lembaga. Kajian teori yang digunakan terdiri dari konsep akreditasi dan konsep pengembangan mutu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survey, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket dan wawancara. Sampel pada penelitian ini merupakan pengelola lembaga kursus dan pelatihan di Kota Cimahi sebanyak 46 responden. Temuan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kondisi objektif di lembaga Cimahi belum memenuhi delapan standar. Pengelola menyebutkan yang menjadi beberapa kendala yaitu biaya, waktu dan SDM. Sedangkan pada pemahaman pengelola, sebagian besar pengelola lembaga di Kota Cimahi mengetahui dan memahami akreditasi. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukan bahwa walaupun pengelola lembaga di Kota Cimahi memahami pentingnya akreditasi. Namun ditinjau dari delapan standar, sebagian besar lembaga masih belum siap melakukan akreditasi karena lembaga masih belum memenuhi komponen-komponen standar sesuai dengan yang telah ditetapkan. Tetapi lembaga menunjukan adanya upaya pengembangan mutu dalam mengikuti kesiapan akreditasi dengan cara mengelola lembaga dengan menetapkan dan mengikuti standar yang sesuai dengan delapan standar nasional pendidikan.----------Establishment of accreditation institutions become one of the indicators of quality assessment in organizing the services of learners, so it can be said that accredited institutions will have good quality. But not all institutions have readiness to follow accreditation. In this study to measure the quality of courses and training institutions in readiness to follow accreditation institutions. The theoretical study used consisted of the concept of accreditation and the concept of quality development. This research uses quantitative approach by using survey method, data collection technique is done by questionnaire and interview. The sample in this study is the manager of courses and training institutions in the City of Cimahi as many as 46 respondents. The findings of the research show that the objective condition in Cimahi institution has not met the eight standards. Managers mention the several constraints that are cost, time and human resources. While on the understanding of managers, most managers of institutions in the City of Cimahi know and understand the accreditation. The conclusion of the study shows that although the management of institutions in Cimahi City understand the importance of accreditation. However, in terms of eight standards, most institutions are still not ready to accredit because the institutions still do not meet the standard components in accordance with the established. But the institution shows the existence of quality development efforts in following the readiness of accreditation by managing the institution by setting and following the standards in accordance with the eight national standards of education.
