Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya struktur modal perusahan sub sektor farmasi yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2011-2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran profitabilitas yang diukur dengan Return on Equity (ROE), struktur aktiva yang diukur dengan tangibility, ukuran perusahaan yang diukur dengan logaritma natural dari total aktiva, dan struktur modal yang diukur dengan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilitas, struktur aktiva, dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap struktur modal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif dan verifikatif. Populasi penelitian adalah perusahaan sub sektor farmasi yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2011-2015. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah uji asumsi klasik dan analisis regresi berganda, serta uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji F dan uji T. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa perkembangan profitabilitas menurun, perkembangan struktur aktiva cenderung stabil, perkembangan ukuran perusahaan meningkat, dan perkembangan struktur modal meningkat. Berdasarkan uji F, profitabilitas, struktur aktiva, dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal. berdasarkan uji T, proitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal. sedangkan struktur aktiva tidak berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal dan ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal. This research is based on the increase of capital structure of pharmaceutical sub sector companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the period of 2011-2015. The aim of this research is to describe of profitability (ROE), asset structure (Tangibility), firm size (Ln Total Asset), and capital structure (DER) in pharmaceutical sub sector companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange, and also to figure out the influence between the profitability, asset structure, and firm size toward capital structure. The research used descriptive and verification methods. These population included pharmaceutical companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period of 2011-2015. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The analysis techniques used is the classic assumption test and multiple regression analysis, and multiple regression analysis, and hypotheses test is using F test and T test. The result show that profitability has decreased, asset structure has stable, firm size has increased, and capital structure has increased. Based on the F test, the profitability, asset structure, and firm size has significance of regression toward capital structure. Based on the T test, profitability has influence toward capital structure. While the asset structure hasn’t influence toward capital structure and firm size hasn’t influence toward capital structure.
