Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena yang terjadi di Perpustakaan Pusat Angkatan Darat, mengenai pemustaka yang terlambat mengembalikan buku. Tujuan dari penelitan ini yaitu untuk mengetahui: 1) Efektivitas sanksi peraturan perpustakaan terhadap kedisiplinan pemustaka di Perpustakaan Pusat Angkatan Darat; 2) Seberapa efektif sanksi peraturan perpustakaan yang diterapkan di Perpustakaan Pusat Angkatan Darat; 3) Seberapa tinggi tingkat kedisiplinan pemustaka di Perpustakaan Pusat Angkatan Darat. Penelitian ini, menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pemustaka di Dinas Sejarah Angkatan Darat dengan sampel sebanyak 100 orang yang dihitung dengan menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skala likert. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dengan uji koefisien pearson product moment dan koefisien determinasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui; 1) Sanksi peraturan perpustakaan dikategorikan memiliki efektivitas yang kuat sebesar dapat diartikan efektif terhadap kedisiplinan pemustaka. 2) Efektivitas sanksi yang diterapkan di Perpustakaan Pusat Angkatan Darat, berada pada kategori sangat setuju sebesar dapat diartikan sangat efektif. 3) Tingkat kedisiplinan pemustaka di Perpustakaan Pusat Angkatan Darat, sangat tinggi sebesar. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa sanksi peraturan perpustakaan efektif terhadap kedisiplinan pemustaka di Perpustakaan Pusat Angkatan Darat. Rekomendasi untuk peneliti kepada pustakawan hendaknya memberikan reward bagi pemustaka yang menaati peraturan perpustakaan agar lebih dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinannya, Kata Kunci: Kedisiplinan Pemustaka, Perpustakaan Khusus, Peraturan Perpustakaan, Sanksi Peraturan Perpustakaan, Discipline, This present study is conducted based on the phenomena that took place in the Army Central Library, with respect to the users who were late to return the books. This carried out study aims at identifying: 1) The effectiveness of library regulation sanctions on the discipline of the users in the Army Central Library; 2) How effective the library regulatory sanctions are applied in the Army Central Library; 3) How high the level of discipline of the users in the Army Central Library. In this present study, the research method employed was a descriptive method in the form of a quantitative approach. In addition, the population in this study was all user from the History Service of the Army involving 100 people as the sample and counted using the technique of proportionate stratified sampling. With respect to the data collection, Likert scale was applied as a means of collecting data. In addition, the data analysis employed in this present study was a descriptive analysis consisting of Pearson product moment coefficient test and determination coefficient test. Based on the results of this study, it was known that; 1) The library regulation sanctions were categorized as having a strong effectiveness around and it could be assumed that those were effective in relation to the discipline of the users, 2) The effectiveness of sanctions applied in the Army Central Library was in the average category very agree and it could be assumed to very effective, 3) The level of discipline of the users in the Army Central Library was considered to be very high reaching. Therefore, it can be concluded that the library regulatory sanctions were effective in relation to the discipline of the users at the Army Central Library.
