Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai upaya mengungkap kemapuan siswa menggunakan pengetahuan yang sudah dipelajari untuk membantunya mempelajari pengetahuan baru. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Profil Kemampuan Transfer Learning Materi Sistem Endokrin Siswa pada Materi Sistem Reproduksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan transfer learning sistem endokrin siswa pada materi sistem reproduksi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas XI semseter genap tahun ajaran 2016-2017 pada salah satu SMA di kota Bandung. Instrumen soal performa pada materi sistem endokrin dan soal kemampuan transfer learning pada materi sistem reproduksi digunakan untuk menjaring data tingkat keberhasilan transfer learning dan ragam transfer learning, data faktor yang memengaruhi keberhasilan transfer learning dijaring menggunakan instrumen angket (faktor internal) dan lembar observasi (faktor eksternal) serta pendalaman jawaban siswa dan tanggapan siswa mengenai kegiatan transfer learning dijaring mengggunakan instrumen angket dan wawancara. Hasil yang diperoleh diketahui siswa termasuk kedalam kategori mampu melakukan transfer learning dengan persentase kemunculan transfer positif secara umum sebesar 71,5% yang terdiri dari specific transfer sebesar 89% dan general transfer sebesar 11% dan persentase kemunculan transfer negatif sebesar 28,5%. Faktor internal pendorong transfer learning yang terdiri dari minat, motivasi dan konsentrasi lebih dominan membantu siswa melakukan transfer learning dibandingkan dengan faktor eksternal pendorong transfer learning dari guru yang termasuk kategori kurang mendorong siswa melakukan transfer learning. Kata kunci: transfer learning, ragam transfer learning, sistem endokrin, sistem reproduksi. ABSTRACT The research was conducted as an effort to reveal student competence of implementing the prior comprehension to help them learning the new concepts. The research which was held istransfer learning capability profile of endocrine system lesson in reproduction system lesson. The aim of this research is to discover student’s ability ofendocryne system lessontransfer learning in reproduction system lesson. The method which was implemented in this research was descriptive design with student of class XI in second semester of academic year 2016-2017 in one of high school in Bandung as the research subject. Performance test instrument in system endocrine lesson and the ability of transfer learning test in reproduction system lesson were used to gather data level of success of transfer learning and transfer learning variety, data of factors affecting the success of transfer learning were collected by using questionnaire instrument (internal factor) and observation sheets (external factor), and also review of answers and responses from student about transfer learning activities was collected by using questionnaire instrument and interview. The result presented that 71,5% of students were included into the category of students who are able to do transfer learning with percentage of positive transfer appearance in general is 71,5% which consists of 89% from specific transfer and 11% from general transfer and percentage of negative transfer appearance is 28,5%. Internal factors of transfer learning which are consisted of interests, motivation, and concentration predominantly help the students do transfer learning than by external factor of transfer learning had been given by teachers which is less driving the students to do transfer learning.
