Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur. Permasalahan yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa. Inti kajian dalam penelitian ini difokuskan pada salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa yaitu keterampilan mengajar guru. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pokok masalah yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah adakah pengaruh keterampilan mengajar guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu keterampilan mengajar guru (X) dan motivasi belajar siswa (Y). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode explanatory survey. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara penyebaran angket dengan model skala likert, yang dianalisis menggunakan regresi sederhana. Jumlah anggota populasi yaitu 149 siswa dari seluruh siswa kelas X program keahlian Administrasi Perkantoran, dan diambil sampel dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin yaitu sebesar 60 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan informasi bahwa (1) keterampilan mengajar guru produktif Administrasi Perkantoran di SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur termasuk kategori sedang, (2) motivasi belajar siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur termasuk kategori sedang. Artinya, sekolah harus memperhatikan serta meningkatkan keterampilan mengajar guru agar motivasi belajar siswa juga lebih meningkat, (3) keterampilan mengajar guru berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas X pada mata pelajaran produktif Administrasi Perkantoran di SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur. This research is conducted in SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur. The raising issue of this research is about the low of students learning motivation. The research core is focused on one of the factors that influence students learning motivation that is teachers teaching skills. Based on it, the principal problems revealed in this research is there any influence of the teachers teaching skills to students learning motivation. This research consists of two variables, there are teachers teaching skills (X) and students learning motivation (Y). The method that used in this research is explanatory survey method. The technique to collect data is gotten from the questionnaire on the Likert Scale, that is analyzed using simple regression. The number of a population was 149 from class X of Office Administration program at SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur, and the sample taken was 60 respontdents using Slovin Formula. Based on research results, obtained information that (1) teachers teaching skills of productive Office Administration at SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur is including the medium rank, (2) students learning motivation on class X of Office Administration major at SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur is including the medium rank. It means that this school should pay attention and improve the teachers teaching skills, so the students learning motivation is increase, (3) teachers teaching skills has a positive effect on students learning motivation in class X on the subject of productive Office Administration at SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur.
