Abstract
Wana Wisata Kawah Putih merupakan salah satu kawasan wisata di Kabupaten Bandung yang diminati wisatawan. Pengelola Wana Wisata Kawah Putih memiliki program wisata edukasi yang diterapkan pada paket wisata. Interpretasi personal sudah berjalan pada paket wisata edukasi tersebut. Program wisata edukasi tersebut belum dapat dirasakan sepenuhnya oleh wisatawan umum. Hal tersebut dikarenakan media interpretasi non-personal di Wana Wisata Kawah Putih belum memadai. Aktivitas yang dilakukan wisatawan pun sebagian besar hanya menikmati pemandangan alam dan berfoto. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan perencanaan media interpretasi non-personal guna memberikan pengetahuan dan edukasi bagi wisatawan. Perencanaan media interpretasi non-personal dalam penelitian ini menggunakan perencanaan interpretasi Veverka (1998). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan metode kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Tujuan dari perencanan media interpreasi non-personal yaitu memberikan pengetahuan baru atau edukasi kepada pengunjung mengenai Kawah Putih. Tema yang diterapkan pada perencanaan media interpretasi non-personal yaitu Sejarah Kawah Putih. Media interpretasi non-personal yang digunakan yaitu Papan Interpretasi dan Peta. Membuat lima desain Papan Interpretasi yang terdiri dari Penamaan Gunung Patuha, Awal Mula Kawah Putih dan Kawah Saat, Kawah Putih, Goa Bekas Tambang Belerang dan Awal Mula Kawah Putih menjadi tempat wisata. Sedangkan Peta berisi mengenai sebaran fasilitas di area Kawah Putih. Penempatan media interpretasi diletakan di area yang strategis. Kata kunci: Perencanaan, Interpretasi Non-Personal, Sejarah Wana Wisata Kawah Putih is one of the tourist area in Bandung Regency that attracted travelers. The manager of Wana Wisata Kawah Putih has educational tour applied to the package tour. Personal interpretation is applied to the educational tour package. The educational tour program can not be fully felt by public travelers. This is because non-personal interpretation media in Wana Wisata Kawah Putih is inadequate. Activities of travelers mostly enjoy the natural scenery and take pictures. Therefore it is necessary to plan non-personal interpretation media to provide knowledge and education for travelers. Non-personal interpretation media planning in this research used Interpretive Planning of Veverka (1998). This research uses qualitative methode and quantitative methode. Based on the result of research, The purpose of planning non-personal interpretation media is to provide new knowledge and education about Kawah Putih for travelers. The theme applied to non-personal interpretation media is the History of Kawah Putih. Non-personal interpretation media used is Interpretation Board and Map. Create five Interpretation Board designs consisting of Patuha Mountain Names, The beginning of the Kawah Putih and Kawah Saat, Kawah Putih, Cave former Sulfur Mine, and The beginning Kawah Putih of Patuha Mountain become tourit attractions.
