Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada permasalahan mengenai kekurangan ruang kelas yang mengakibatkan sekolah membuat sistem dua shift serta rolling shift di setiap minggunya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa pada shift pagi dan shift siang. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian kausal-komparatif serta alat pengungkap data menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas menggunakan validitas wajah. Hasil uji normalitas sebesar 0,427 dan datanya termasuk normal. Motivasi belajar dilihat dari empat indikator, yaitu pilihan tugas, usaha, kegigihan dan prestasi. Berdasarkan pengolahan dan analisis data, diperoleh presentase masuk sekolah pagi pada indikator pilihan tugas 69,23%, masuk sekolah siang 70,28%. Indikator usaha pada masuk sekolah pagi 75,96 %, masuk sekolah siang 75,56%. Indikator kegigihan pada masuk sekolah pagi 84,05%, masuk sekolah siang 83,38%. Indikator prestasi pada masuk sekolah pagi 30,59%, masuk sekolah siang 30,28%. Hasil uji t indikator pilihan tugas 0,707, usaha 0,886, kegigihan 0,771 dan prestasi 0,827. Hasil uji t yang diperoleh keseluruhan 0,826 dengan menggunakan independent sample t test. Pada seluruh data, hasil uji t > 0,05, maka H0 diterima. Dengan demikian, peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar siswa pada masuk sekolah pagi dan siang.;---This study based on a problem concerning the lack of classrooms which made the school created shifting class and rolling shift system every week. The aim of this study is to analyze the differences of learning motivation between students in morning and noon class. The approaches used were qualitative and quantitative with causal-comparative and this study also used questionnaire, interview and documentation. The validity test used the method of face validity. The result of normality test showed 0,427 and it was considered normal. The students’ learning motivation was observed from four indicators: assignment choice, effort, endurance and achievement. Based on the data process and data analysis, the percentage of morning class on the indicator of the assignment choice was 69,23%, noon class 70,28%. In the indicator of effort, the morning class got 75,96%, noon class 75,56%. Indicator of endurance showed that morning class got 84,05%, noon class 83,38 %. The indicator of achievement of morning class was 30,59% noon class 30,28. The result of t-test for assignment choice was 0,707, effort 0,886, endurance 0,771 and achievement 0,827. The overall result was 0,826 by using independent sample test. All data showed that the result of t-test > 0,05 so H0 could be accepted. Therefore the researcher conclude that there are no significant differences between students in morning and noon class.
