Abstract

Peneliti mengidentifikasi adanya permasalahan dalam pembelajaran menulis cerita fantasi. Banyak siswa yang kurang terampil menciptakan cerita fantasi karena sulit menemukan dan mengembangkan ide kreatif. Sehubungan dengan hal itu, media komik dapat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut karena termasuk media yang disenangi anak-anak. Penelitian ini telah divalidasi para ahli yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hal-hal berikut. Pertama, profil pembelajaran menulis cerita fantasi siswa kelas VII SMP Daarut Tauhiid Bandung. Kedua, perencanaan pengembangan model pembelajaran Treffinger berbasis media komik pada keterampilan menulis cerita fantasi siswa kelas VII SMP Daarut Tauhiid Bandung. Ketiga, pelaksanaan pengembangan model pembelajaran Treffinger berbasis media komik pada keterampilan menulis cerita fantasi siswa kelas VII SMP Daarut Tauhiid Bandung. Keempat, keefektivitas pengembangan model pembelajaran Treffinger berbasis media komik pada keterampilan menulis cerita fantasi siswa kelas VII SMP Daarut Tauhiid Bandung. Kelima, produk akhir model pembelajaran Treffinger berbasis media komik pada keterampilan menulis cerita fantasi. Metode penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R & D). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, pedoman observasi, tes, dan angket. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini mencakup tahap uji coba terbatas dan uji coba luas hingga menghasilkan produk berupa draf final. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t dengan kriteria uji adalah tolak H0 jika Sig. < α = 0,05 dan terima H1 jika Sig. > α = 0,05. Hasil menunjukkan nilai Sig. 0,361 > 0,05 sehingga H1 diterima atau terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran Treffinger berbasis media komik terbukti dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita fantasi. ;---In learning to write fantasy stories, there were some problems that the researcher encountered. Most students do not have enough skill to create fantasy stories due to difficulties in developing their creative ideas. Along with that, comic as media can surely solve this problem since it provides things that students like. Thus, this research has been validated by the experts to describe the following; First, the learning profile on writing fantasy stories of the seventh grade of junior high school Daarut Tauhiid Bandung. Second, the development planning of Treffinger learning model based on comic as media for student writing skills of the seventh grade of junior high school Daarut Tauhiid Bandung. Third, the implementation of the development of Treffinger learning model based on comic media on the skills of writing fantasy stories of the seventh grade of junior high school Daarut Tauhiid Bandung. Fourth, effectiveness of development learning model of Treffinger based on comic media on the skills of writing fantasy stories of the seventh grade of junior high school Daarut Tauhiid. Fifth, the final product of learning model of Treffinger based on comic media on the skills of writing fantasy stories. This research was Research and Development methods. The Data collection were conducted through interviews, observation guidelines, tests, and questionnaire. The implementation of this research included a limited trial test stage and extensive test for producing a final draft product. Hypothesis test used t-test with the criterion H0 is rejected if Sig. < α = 0,05 and H0 is accepted if Sig. > α = 0,05. The results showed that Sig. value 0,361 > 0,05 so H1 is accepted or there is a significant difference. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning model of Treffinger based comic media certainly could improve student's’ skills in writing fantasy stories.
