Abstract
Efektivitas sekolah yang mengacu pada sejauhmana sekolah dapat mencapai tujuan dan sasaran pendidikan yang telah ditetapkan. Sekolah yang efektif merupakan sekolah yang mengalami peningkatan dan kemajuan dalam peningkatan mutu dengan kepemimpinan yang mampu mengembangkan nilai-nilai arif menjadi nilai sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan berbasis nilai dan iklim sekolah dalam menciptakan sekolah efektif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analisis, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data diperoleh dengan populasi 460 sekolah, namun dilakukan teknik stratified random sampling berdasarkan sekolah yang sudah terakreditasi untuk dijadikan sampel dan terpilih 48 sekolah sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan berbasis nilai mempunyai hubungan dengan efektivitas sekolah dengan koefisien korelasi 0,264 dan memberikan pengaruh yang sebesar 7,0%. Iklim sekolah mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dengan efektivitas sekolah dengan koefisien korelasi 0,355 dan memberikan pengaruh yang sebesar 12,6%. Sedangkan pengujian kedua variabel kepemimpinan berbasis nilai dan iklim sekolah secara bersamaan mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dengan efektivitas sekolah dengan koefisien korelasi 0,463 dan memberikan pengaruh yang sebesar 21,5%. Kepemimpinan berbasis nilai di kabupaten Serdang Bedagai berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Iklim sekolah dasar di kabupaten Serdang Bedagai juga menunjukkan angka yang sangat tinggi. Efektitivitas sekolah menunjukkan nilai yang sangat tinggi. Mengembangkan berbagai strategi dalam setiap pelaksanaan pekerjaan dapat memungkinkan setiap guru mampu melaksanakan dan bekerjasama, melakukan forum informal dengan berkunjung ke ruang kerja guru untuk membahas perkembangan pencapaian tujuan sekolah, kepala sekolah dan guru datang ke tempat kerja tepat waktu, berpakaian rapi, sopan, memperhatikan etika cara berpakaian sebagaimana mestinya seorang pegawai.;---School effectiveness is measured by the achievement of settled educational goals and objectives. Effective school is an improving and progressing quality of school led by a leader who develops characters and values so it becomes the school values. The purpose of this reseach was to identify the impact of value-based leadership influencing the school effectiveness. The method used in this research was descriptive analysis in the framework of quantitative approach. The data was collected from 460 schools population, but had been simplified into 48 schools based on the stratified-random sampling. The results of hypothetical-test revealed that the value-based leadership correlated with the school effectiveness as much as 7.0%, with correlation coefficient of 0.264. In line with that, the school climate had also significantly correlate with the school effectiveness as much as 12.6%, with the 0.355 points of correlation coefficient. Furthermore, the test of both variables of value-based leadership and school climate showed signicifant correlation as much as 21.5% toward the school effectiveness, with the correlation coefficient of 0.463. Thus, it was safe to conclude that the value-based leadership in Serdang Bedagai was categorized into very high, in line with the school climate and the school effectiveness. Developing strategies in every job can enable teachers to implement and cooperate, conduct informal forums by appealing to teacher apes to discuss progress toward school goals, principals and teachers coming to the workplace on time, well-dressed, respectfull of ethics dressed as an employee.
