Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tentang penerapan model pembelajaran Peer Teaching terhadap peningkatan keterampilan bermain permainan Softball. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas) yang terdiri atas tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan terhadap 36 siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat terdiri atas laki – laki 17 dan perempuan 19. Proses penelitian dibagi dua siklus yang terdiri atas empat tindakan. Setiap tindakan menggunakan siswa sebagai gurunya untuk mengajar sedangkan peneliti hanya mengamati dan mengoreksi ketika ada kekurangan. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrument GPAI. Semua data yang terkempul dianalisis menggunakan teknik persentase, nilai keterampilan bermain softball pada observasi awal untuk kemampuan menyerang sebesar 31% dan untuk kemampuan bertahan sebesar 30%. Kemudian setelah dilakukan penelitian keterampilan siswa menjadi 75% untuk kemampuan menyerang dan 72% untuk kemampuan bertahan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Peer Teaching dalam pembelajaran permainan softball dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bermain softball. ---------- The purpose of this research is to understand about the application of Peer Teaching learning model to the skill improvement in playing softball. The method in this research is PTK (Research Action Class) which consists of stages of planning action, implementation of action, observation and reflection. The research was conducted of 36 students of grade VII SMP Negeri 3 Lembang West Bandung. It is consist of 17 men and 19 women. The research process divided into two cycles consisting of four actions. Each action used the students as his teacher to teach while the researcher only observer and give the evaluation when there is a shortage. The data collected by using GPAI instrument. All cohesive data were analyzed using percentage techniques, the value of softball playing skill on preliminary observation for 31% offensive ability and 30% for defensive ability. Then after the research skills of student to 75% for the offensive ability and 72% for defensive. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the application of peer teaching learning model in softball game learning can improve softball playing skills.
