Abstract

Perencanaan struktur bangunan tinggi di Indonesia harus dirancang mampu menahan beban lateral yang terjadi akibat gempa sehingga tidak terjadi kerusakan yang signifikan pada struktur. Salah satu cara untuk menahan beban lateral tersebut adalah dengan pemasangan dinding geser, sehingga kekakuan struktur akan meningkat. Dinding geser akan berfungsi dengan optimal apabila ditempatkan pada posisi yang tepat. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah struktur Gedung Apartemen Landmark dengan tiga buah posisi dinding geser yang berbeda. Pemodelan yang dibuat dalam penelitian ini sebanyak empat buah yaitu tanpa dinding geser (tipe A), dinding geser eksisting (tipe B), dinding geser di bagian luar bangunan (tipe C) dan dinding geser melintang bangunan (tipe D). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh posisi dinding geser terhadap simpangan yang terjadi serta mengevaluasi kinerja struktur bangunan berdasarkan ATC-40. Analisis menggunakan metode dinamik respon spektrum yang dilakukan dengan bantuan program struktur SAP2000. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa terjadi pengurangan nilai simpangan dari struktur tanpa dinding geser terhadap struktur yang telah dipasang dinding geser. Struktur tipe B, tipe C dan tipe D mampu mereduksi nilai simpangan dari struktur tipe A sebesar 37,04%, 57,55% dan 29,49% pada arah x dan 52,94%, 45,43% dan 26,80% pada arah y. Evaluasi kinerja struktur yang didapatkan dari analisis menunjukan bahwa struktur tipe A, tipe B, tipe C dan tipe D masuk kedalam kategori kinerja Immediately Occupancy. Hal tersebut menunjukan apabila struktur gedung mengalami gempa tidak akan terjadi kerusakan yang signifikan dan struktur dapat segera digunakan kembali. Kata kunci: Dinding Geser, simpangan, kinerja struktur bangunan, ATC-40 Structure of tall buildings in Indonesia should be designed to resist lateral load caused by earthquake in order to avoid significant damage to the structure. One of system that could resist lateral loads is a shear wall. This system would increase the stiffness of structural form and optimally work when it placed in proper position. A Landmark Apartment Building with three different shear wall positions were used in this study and four modelings were developed such as without shear wall (type A), existing shear wall (type B), shear wall on the outside of the building (type C) and transverse shear wall of building (type D). The study objectives were to determine effect of shear wall position to drift and to evaluate performance of building structure based of ATC-40. Dynamic spectrum response method and SAP2000 software were used for analysis. Result showed that there is a reduction in drift value from structure without shear walls to the structure with shear walls. Model type B, type C and type D could reduce drift value of model type A by 37.04%, 57.55% and 29.49% in X direction and 52.94%, 45.43% and 26.80% in Y direction. According to the structure performance evaluation, model type A, type B, type C and type D were included in Immediately Occupancy category. Which means if an earthquake were occur it would not cause significant damage to building structure and the structure could be immediately reused.
