Abstract

Masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah kinerja pegawai BKD di Pangkal Pinang pada 2013-2015 mengalami penurunan, hal ini dilihat dari evaluasi kinerja pegawai yang tidak selalu mencapai target kerja. Ada banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya kinerja pegawai, salah satunya adalah kepuasan kerja. Berdasarkan hal tersebut kajian dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja pegawai terhadap kinerja pegawai di Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Pangkal Pinang. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 variabel, yaitu kepuasan kerja pegawai (X) dan kinerja pegawai (Y). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode explanatory survey dan teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan menggunakan angket dengan responden yang di ambil dari sampel sebanyak 50 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket dengan menggunakan rating scale. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil peneltian diketahui bahwa kepuasan kerja pegawai dan kinerja pegawai berada dalam kategori tinggi. sedangkan koefisien korelasi antara Variabel X (kepuasan kerja pegawai ) terhadap variable Y (kinerja pegawai) dalam kategori rendah. Koefisien regresi antara Variabel X (kepuasan kerja pegawai) dan Variabel Y (kinerja pegawai) berpengaruh signifikan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja pegawai berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Badan Kepegawaian Daerah di Pangkal Pinang. Kata Kunci : Kepuasan Kerja, Kinerja The problem studied in this research was performance of employeesin Regional Civil Service Agency in Pangkal Pinangaround 2013-2015 has decreased; it was seen from the performance evaluation of employees who have never achieved the employment targets. There were many factors that affect the poor performance of employees; one of itwas job satisfaction. Based on this condition, this study of this research was to determine the effect of employee satisfaction towardsperformance of employees in the Regional Civil Service Agency in Pangkal Pinang City. This study consisted of two variables;those are job satisfaction ofemployees (X) and performance of employees (Y). The used method in this research was explanatory survey method and data were collected by using questionnaires which has been distributed to50 respondents. The instrument used was a rating scale questionnaire. Analysis of the data is done with simple regression analysis. Based on the results of study, it was known that employee satisfaction and performance of employeeswereon high category. At the same time, the correlation coefficient between variable X (employee satisfaction) to variable Y (performance of employees) was on the low category. The regression coefficient between variable X (employee satisfaction) and variable Y (performance of employees) had an effect significantly. Conclusions from this study showed that employee satisfaction haspositive and significant effect on performance ofemployeesin Regional Civil Service Agency in Pangkal Pinang.
