Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya menanamkan sikap, watak atau karakter kewarganegaraan (civic disposition) kepada peserta didik demi mengamalkan tujuan pendidikan nasional yaitu membentuk peserta didik yang berakhlak mulia. Dimaksudkan agar peserta didik tidak hanya cerdas dalam ranah kognitif saja akan tetapi harus pula memiliki kecerdasan emosional (civic disposition). Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh media video kartun terhadap civic disposition siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non equivalent pre test post test design. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran number heads together dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran video kartun berbasis nilai moral, sedangkan kelompok kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional (discovery learning). Pengumpulan data dalam bentuk angket sikap, tes, catatan lapangan dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan pengolahan statistik, yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis, menggunakan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan rata – rata nilai angket sikap dan rata – rata nilai postest di kedua kelas tersebut sangat berbeda. Dengan demikian terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan media video kartun berbasis nilai moral terhadap civic disposition siswa. Rekomendasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu agar guru dapat mencoba menerapkan model pembelajaran video kartun berbasis nilai moral di pembelajaran selanjutnya.;---The research was distributed by the importance of instilling the attitude, the character or the character of citizenship (civic disposition) to learners in order to practice the purpose of national education that is shaping learners who have the honor. Intended to learners not only in the realm of cognitive alone but should also possess emotional intelligence (civic disposition). Based on the background of this research aims to find out how the media influences video cartoons against civic disposition of the students. The approach used in this study was the quantitative approach, using the method of quasi experimental design with non equivalent pre test post test design. The subject of this research consists of a group of experiments using model number heads together learning by using learning media video cartoon-based moral values, while the control group using conventional learning model (discovery learning). The collection of data use questionnaire of attitude, tests, notes field and study of documentation. Data analysis using statistical processing, that is the test of normality, test its homogeneity, and test hypotheses, using the SPSS program assistance. The results of this study showed the existence of significant differences between classes of experiments with the control class. This is indicated with average value of questionnaire of attitude and average value of postest in both class is very different. So there was the influence of the use of video cartoon-based moral value to civic disposition students. The recommendations in this study that is teachers can try to apply learning models video cartoon-based moral values in learning further.
