Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menyusun bahan ajar fisika SMP yang berorientasi keseimbangan literasi sains pada tema alam semesta. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya kemampuan literasi sains siswa SMP pada tema alam semesta. Bahan ajar ini tersusun dari fitur judul, kompetensi dasar dan indikator, bagan materi, review, asyiknya mencoba, tahukah kamu, ayo diskusi, tokoh, ayo cari tahu, info sains, istilah penting, asyiknya merangkum dan uji pemahaman. Pendekatan Research and Development model 4-D digunakan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar pada peneitian ini. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi angket penggunaan buku ajar Fisika SMP, tes kemampuan literasi sains siswa pada tema alam semesta, soal uji rumpang bahan ajar, angket keterbacaan bahan ajar. Hasil uji rumpang yang diuji cobakan kepada 116 orang siswa kelas VIII SMP menunjukan bahan ajar memiliki kriteria keterbacaan “tinggi” dengan nilai 83,2%. Kriteria “sesuai” juga didapat dari hasil validasi bahan ajar oleh 4 pakar yang terdiri dari 2 dosen, 1 pakar dan 1 orang guru menunjukan bahan ajar memuat keseimbangan aspek literasi sains dan tergolong sesuai dalam kelayakan komponen bahan ajar.;---This study aims to compose teaching materials of physics junior-oriented balance of science literacy on the theme of the universe. This is motivated by the low literacy skills of junior high school students on the theme of the universe. This resource is composed of the title feature, basic competencies and indicators, material charts, reviews, fun trying, do you know, let's discuss, figures, let's find out, science info, important terms, fun summarizes and comprehension test. The Research and Development approach of the 4-D model is used to develop teaching materials in this study. The instruments used include questionnaires of the use of textbooks of Physics of Junior High School, the students' literacy skills test on the theme of the universe, the subject matter of the teaching materials test, the questionnaire of the readability of the teaching materials. The test results of test passengers tested to 116 students of grade VIII SMP showed teaching materials have the criteria of "high" readability with a value of 83.2%. The "appropriate" criterion is also obtained from the validation of teaching materials by 4 experts consisting of 2 lecturers, 1 expert and 1 teacher indicates the teaching materials contains the balance of scientific literacy aspect and is appropriate in the feasibility of teaching material component.
