Abstract

Tingkat pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi yang diajarkan di kelas sangat bergantung dari berbagai faktor internal maupun eksternal. Model pembelajaran sebagai salah satu faktor eksternal berperan penting dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Model pembelajaran konvensional yang selama ini diterapkan pada mata pelajaran mekanika teknik dan elemen mesin menunjukkan 80% nilai peserta didik masih dibawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal. Penerapan model pembelajaran yang tepat akan menghasilkan hasil belajar yang optimal. Model pembelajaran Student Team Achievement Division sebagai salah satu bagian dari Cooperative Learning diterapkan pada mata pelajaran mekanika teknik dan elemen mesin untuk melihat pengaruh peningkatan hasil belajar yang dihasilkan. Penerapan model pembelajaran ini diterapkan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menjadikannya treatment untuk kelas eksperimen dan model pembelajaran konvensional untuk kelas kontrol. Pre test dilakukan sebelum kegiatan treatment dan post test dilakukan setelahnya. Maka nilai N-Gain yang didapatkan dari perhitungan skor pre test dan post test dijadikan data untuk uji hipotesis. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t dua arah. Hasil N-Gain kelas kontrol sebesar 56,27 sedangkan untuk kelas eksperimen nilai N-Gain sebesar 68,38. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai thitung sebesar 3,734 dan lebih besar dari ttabel dengan derajat kebebasan dk = 58 yaitu bernilai 2,00. Hal ini menunjukkan penolakan H0 dan penerimaan hipotesis alternatif yaitu terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Student Team Achievement Division terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar. ;--- The level of student understanding of the material taught in the classroom depends on many internal and external factors. The learning model as one of the external factors plays an important role in the learning activities in the classroom. Conventional learning model that has been applied to the subjects of Engineering Mechanics and Machine Elements shows 80% of the students score are still below the minimum requirement. Applying the right learning model will result in optimal learning achievement. Student Team Achievement Division learning model as one part of Cooperative Learning applied to the subjects of Mechanical Mechanics and Machine Elements to see the effect of the improvement of Study result.This learning model is applied quantitatively by making it a treatment for the experimental class and the conventional learning model for the control class. Pre test is done before the treatment and post test is done afterwards. Then the value of N-Gain obtained from the calculation of Pre test scores and Post test used as data to test the hypothesis. Hypothesis testing uses two way t test. The result of N-Gain control class is 56.27 while for the experimental class result of N-Gain is 68,38. The result of hypothesis test shows tcount score is 3,734 and bigger than ttable which the degrees of freedom dk = 58 is at 2.00. This indicates the rejection of H0 and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis that there is influence of the implementation of learning model Student Team Achievement Division to improve Study Result.
