Abstract

Penelitian tentang korelasi kelimpahan jenis pohon dengan kelimpahan Lygosoma sanctum di hutan Cagar Alam Pananjung Pangandaran telah dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2016. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelimpahan jenis pohon, kelimpahan L. sanctum, jenis pohon yang banyak dihuni L. sanctum, serta korelasi kelimpahan jenis pohon dengan kelimpahan L. sanctum di kawasan kajian. Metode yang digunakan adalah jalur berpetak dengan menempatkan 20 petak contoh berukuran 20 x 20 m2 pada area pengamatan seluas 0,8 ha. Korelasi dianalisis dengan metode Spearman. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat tiga jenis pohon dengan kelimpahan tertinggi yaitu Vitex pubescens (30 pohon), Sterculia urceolata (24 pohon) dan Calophyllum inophyllum (21 pohon). Hasil penghitungan kelimpahan L. sanctum, 69 ekor L. sanctum ditemukan di 19 jenis pohon. Jumlah L. sanctum terbanyak ditemukan pada pohon Dysoxylum parasiticum yaitu 22% dari total kadal dan 13% kadal ditemukan pada pohon Pterospermum javanicum. Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan kelimpahan jenis pohon tidak berkorelasi dengan kelimpahan L. sanctum di Cagar Alam Pananjung Pangandaran. Kata kunci: Lygosoma sanctum, korelasi kelimpahan, Cagar Alam Pananjung Pangandaran Research about the correlation between tree abundance and tree lizard (Lygosoma sanctum) abundance in Pananjung Pangandaran Nature Reserve was conducted on May 2016. This research aimed to know tree abundance, L. sanctum abundance, trees species that has highest numbers of L. sanctum found, and the correlation between tree abundance and tree lizard (L. sanctum) abundance in that location. A number of 20 of 20 x 20 m2 quadrats were established in location 0,8 ha. The correlation analyzed by Spearman Correlation. Based on the research, found three species has highest abundance, those are Vitex pubescens (30 trees), Sterculia urceolata (24 trees) and Calophyllum inophyllum (21 trees). Meanwhile 69 of L. sanctum found on 19 tree species. The highest number of L. sanctum found on Dysoxylum parasiticum tree (20% from total number of L. sanctum) and 13% L. sanctum found on Pterospermum javanicum tree. The analytic of correlation shows that there is no correlation between tree abundance and L. sanctum abundance in Pananjung Pangandaran Nature Reserve.
