Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih banyaknya guru ekonomi yang belum berkualifikasi baik serta terdapat beberapa guru ekonomi masih memiliki literasi ekonomi rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis gambaran umum literasi ekonomi guru SMA di Kota Bandung berdasarkan beberapa faktor dan aspek yang dapat mempengaruhi tingkat literasi ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif melalui survei dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui uji tes, angket dan observasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru ekonomi SMA di Kota Bandung sebanyak 130 guru dari 52 sekolah sedangkan sampel sebanyak 80 guru dari 30 sekolah. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistika deskriptif dan teknik analisis data tabulasi silang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum literasi ekonomi guru ekonomi SMA di Kota Bandung termasuk kategori tinggi pada guru berjenis kelamin perempuan yang berusia 51 – 60 tahun dengan status menikah memiliki beban tanggungan keluarga 3 – 4 orang, bertempat tinggal diperkotaan dan pendidikan terakhir S1 telah bekerja selama 26 – 35 tahun dengan berstatus pegawai PNS serta bersertifikasi dibidang ekonomi sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru ekonomi SMA di Kota Bandung telah melek ekonomi atau mempunyai literasi ekonomi yang memadai. Kata Kunci: Literasi ekonomi, Guru ekonomi. This research is based on numbers of incompetent economics teachers as well as teachers who still have a low level of economic literacy. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the general picture of economic literacy of high school teachers in Bandung based on several factors and aspects that can affect the level of economic literacy. The method used in this study is a descriptive study through a survey with data collection technique employed through testing, questionnaires and observations. The study population were 130 high school economics teacher from 52 schools in Bandung, while a sample chosen were 80 teachers from 30 schools. The collected data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and cross tabulation data analysis techniques. The results showed that the overall economy literacy of economics teacher from high school in Bandung were categorized as high, especially women aged 51-60 years with a married status, which have the burden of family responsibilities ranging from 3-4 people and live in urban as well as Bachelor degree as their the latest education who have worked for 26-35 years with the status of civil servants and profesionally certified in the economic field. From these results, it can be concluded that high school economics teacher in Bandung have economic literacy or have sufficient economic literacy. Keywords: Economic literacy, Economics teacher.
