Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh asumsi masyarakat mengenai perempuan yang berpendidikan tinggi, dimana masih banyak masyarakat yang beranggapan bahwa peran atau tugas perempuan hanya berkaitan dengan kebutuhan domestik, sehingga perempuan tidak perlu berpendidikan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi masyarakat terhadap perempuan berpendidikan tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup yang diisi oleh sebagian dari masyarakat Desa Tegal Sumedang, khususnya para orang tua, sampel yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Random Sampling sebanyak 85 orang. Untuk pengujian uji validitas instrument menggunakan Korelasi Product Moment, dan pengujian reliabilitas menggunakan Rumus Alpha. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan penggolongan untuk membedakannya terdapat lima kategori yaitu sangat setuju, setuju, ragu-ragu, tidak setuju, dan sangat tidak setuju. Pengolahan data menggunakan bantuan program SPSS IBM 20 for excel. Hasil penelitian ini termasuk kategori sangat baik, nilai tertinggi pada total keseluruhan 85,89% dan nilai terendah 1,18%, artinya secara keseluruhan persepsi masyarakat sangat baik terhadap perempuan berpendidikan tinggi di Desa Tegal Sumedang.;---This research is based on community assumption about high educated women, where many people still think that women's role or duty is only related to domestic needs, so women do not need to be highly educated. This study aims to determine how people's perceptions of women with high education. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach. Technique of collecting data using closed questionnaire which is filled by part of society of Tegal Sumedang Village, especially parent, samples taken by using random sampling technique counted 85 people. To test the validity of the instrument using Product Moment Correlation, and reliability testing using Alpha Formula. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics and classification to distinguish there are five categories that strongly agree, agree, hesitate, disagree, and strongly disagree. Data processing using the help of SPSS IBM 20 for excel program. The results of this study include very good category, the highest score on the overall total of 85.89% and the lowest value of 1.18%, it means that the overall perception of the community is very good for high-educated women in Tegal Sumedang Village.
