Abstract
Koperasi siswa SMP Negeri 1 Cikalong merupakan koperasi siswa yang refresentatif, hal ini terlihat dari sistem kerja, kepengurusan, pengawasan dan bimbingan. Namun dalam kenyataannya di lapangan koperasi siswa belum begitu membudaya dikalangan siswa, walaupun semua siswa merupakan anggota koperasi siswa tetapi masih ada siswa yang tidak partisipatif mengikuti kegiatan koperasi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran koperasi siswa dalam membina economic civic siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Cikalong. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa (1) membina economic civic siswa melalui peran koperasi siswa SMP Negeri 1 Cikalong dilakukan melalui dua kegiatan yaitu kegiatan prakarya, dan kegiatan menabung wisata; (2) pelaksanaan membina economic civic melalui peran koperasi siswa diawali dengan proses perencanaan, dan penentuan program kerja yang dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan program dan evaluasi; (3) hasil pembinaan dari kegiatan prakarya berupa kreativitas yang dibuat oleh siswa yang dapat siswa jual di koperasi siswa; (4) hambatan dalam pelaksanaan membina economic civic siswa melalui peran koperasi siswa adalah tidak terbangunnya komunikasi yang baik antara pengurus koperasi siswa dan guru-guru, kurangnya modal usaha koperasi siswa, dan masih ada siswa yang tidak partisipatif dalam mengikuti kegiatan koperasi siswa; (5) upaya dalam mengatasi hambatan tersebut diantaranya adalah membuat alur koordinasi dan komunikasi yang jelas dengan guru-guru, melakukan sosialisasi atau pendekatan personal kepada siswa, dan melibatkan berbagai pihak (OSIS, wakasek kesiswaan dan kepala sekolah) dalam melaksanakan sosialisasi kegiatan.;--The background of this research is low student participation in cooperative events which was represented by the annual cooperative report at 1 Cikalong Junior High School. Furthermore, Student’s participation in cooperative events has been decreasing since three years ago. The purpose of this research was to observe the role of student cooperative to develop economic civic at 1 Cikalong Junior High School. This research uses qualitative approach and descriptive method.. Data collection is conducted with the interview, observation, documentation, and literature. The result of this research are ;(1) develop Student’s economic civic through the role of cooperative student carried out by workshop and saving tours; (2) Planning, choosing, executing, and evaluating programs is a part of economic civic; (3) the results of this activity are a creativity that can be sold by students in student cooperative; (4) the obstacles of economic civic are no good communication between students and teachers, the shortage of business capital and low participation from the student at each cooperative events; (5) creating the pattern of communication, informing event through personal approaching, and involving stakeholder (school student organization, headmaster, and vice of headmaster) are The efforts to overcome the obstacle.
