    Abstract

    Setiap pelaksanaan pembelajaran diperlukan berbagai sumber. Peranan guru memilih media dan
    sumber belajar yang sesuai sangat berpengaruh kepada proses pembelajaran, baik yang dilakukan
    dalam kelas (in door) maupun di luar kelas (out door). Hal tersebut sesuai dengan pembelajaran
    geografi yang memiliki objek kajian interaksi antara manusia dan lingkungannya maupun kajian
    interaksi antara manusia dengan manusia itu sendiri. Sehingga, keberadaan Museum Talaga
    Manggung di Kabupaten Majalengka yang didalamnya memiliki potensi untuk dimanfaatkan oleh
    guru geografi SMA sebagai sumber belajar geografi pada kegiatan belajar mengajar. Berdasarkan
    latar belakang tersebut, penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pemanfaatan Museum Talaga Manggung
    sebaai sumber belajar pada mata pelajaran geografi di SMA Kabupaten Majalengka. Penelitian ini
    bertujuan: 1) Mengetahui karakteristik yang dimiliki Museum Talaga Manggung sebagai sumber
    belajar, 2) Mengetahui tingkat pemanfaatan Museum Talaga Manggung sebagai sumber belajar, 3)
    Mengetahui strategi pemanfaatan Museum Talaga Manggung sebagai sumber belajar pada
    pembelajaran geografi. Menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi seluruh guru geografi SMA di
    Kabupaten Majalengka, dan sampel menggunakan borring sampling (sampel jenuh). Teknik analisis
    data menggunakan teknik persentase dan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : 1) Potensi
    Museum Talaga Manggung meliputi kondisi fisik museum, objek museum, tersedianya sarana dan
    prasarana dapat menunjang sebagai sumber belajar geografi. 2) Tingkat pemanfaatan Museum Talaga
    Manggung oleh guru geografi SMA Kabupaten Majalengka tergolong rendah, dengan frekuensi
    kunjungan sebesar 37%, dengan rata-rata kunjungan pada jumlah kecil disebabkan faktor yang
    mempengaruhi pemanfaatan diantaranya adalah faktor lokasi, guru, dana, waktu dan perizinan
    sekolah. 3) Strategi pemanfaatan dilakukan dengan membawa peserta didik ke Museum dan
    Pemaparan Museum didalam kelas saat pembelajaran.----------Every learning activity is required various sources. Role of teachers to choose media and appropriate
    learning resources are very influential to the learning process, no matter in the classroom (in door)
    and outside the classroom (out door). According to Geography learn that is studying the interaction
    among human and environment as well as human and human itself. Thus, the existence of Talaga
    Manggung Museum in Majalengka district which it has the potential to be utilized by high school
    geography teacher as a source of learning geography on teaching and learning activities. Based on
    this background, this study examines the utilization of Talaga Manggung Museum as a source to learn
    geography subject at high school level in Majalengka. The aims of this study are: 1) To know the
    characteristics of the Talaga Manggung Museum as a learning resource, 2) To know the utilization
    level of Talaga Manggung Museum as a learning resource, 3) To know the strategy of Museum
    utilization Talaga Manggung as a learning resource on geography subject. Additionally, this study
    used descriptive method, the population is all of high school geography teachers in Majalengka
    District, and samples used borring sampling (saturated samples). Data analysis technique used
    percentage and SWOT analysis. The results showed: 1) Potential of Talaga Manggung Museum there
    are physical condition, museum objects, the availability of facilities and infrastructure that may
    support as a source of Geography subject. 2) The utilization rate of Talaga Manggung Museum by
    high school geography teacher of Majalengka Regency is low, with visit frequency about 37%, and
    average visit in small amount caused factors that influence the utilization are location, teacher, fund,
    time and school permit. 3) The utilization strategy is to carried out by bring students to museum and
    museum exposure in the classroom during the lesson.
