Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya permasalahan perilaku menyimpang di lingkungan sekolah. Seperti kasus bullying yang sering dijumpai adalah kasus senioritas atau adanya intimidasi siswa yang lebih senior terhadap adik kelasnya baik secara fisik maupun non-fisik. Perilaku bullying merupakan salah satu bentuk kenakalan remaja atau juvenile delikuensi karena perilaku tersebut melanggar norma yang berlaku dalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk senioritas yang terjadi pada siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Bandung, dampak yang terjadi dari adanya senioritas pada siswa, pengendalian sosial yang dilakukan oleh sekolah dalam mengatasi senioritas, serta kendala yang dihadapi selama melakukan pengendalian sosial tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pun dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri dari pihak sekolah, siswa, dan warga SMA Negeri 2 Bandung lainnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengendalian sosial yang dilakukan sekolah untuk mengatasi senioritas dengan adanya pembagian kekuasaan fasilitas sekolah yang disalahgunakan dan mengarah kepada tindak bullying dilakukan dengan pendekatan personal, pendekatan kelompok, persuasif, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, membuat surat perjanjian, hingga pada tahap pemberian sanksi. Hal tersebut dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan. Selain itu, terdapat berbagai kendala yang dihadapi oleh pihak dalam melakukan pengendalian sosial ini. Kendala tersebut bersumber dari sekolah dan siswa itu sendiri.;---This research is motivated by the many disorders of deviant behaviour in school environment. Such as cases of bullying that often encountered is a case seniority or the existence of more senior students intimidation of class siblings both physically and non-physical. Bullying behaviour is one of the delusional forms of juvenile deliberation or adolescence because such behaviour violates the norms prevailing in society. This study aims to determine the form seniority that occurs in students in SMA Negeri 2 Bandung, the impact that occurs from seniority on the students, social control conducted by the school in the face of seniority that leads to negative things, Also the developing during such social controls. This research is done by using qualitative approach and case study method. Data collection is done by using observation technique, interview, and documentation analysis. Informant research consists of the school, students, and people of SMA Negeri 2 Bandung. The results of this study indicate that there is a social change done by schools to overcome seniority with the distribution of facilities that are not abused and lead to negative things such as bullying is done with personal approach, group approach, persuasive, extracurricular activities, making a letter of agreement, to Phase Sanctions. This is done through several stages. In addition, there are various things that are in the process by the parties in performing this social control. The barriers come from the school and the students themselves.
